I'm new to this and a long time Z fan.
However my personal Z gremlin has struck again.
10 years ago I went to buy did the deal shook hands on a cracking TT. To be fair I did screw him down a bit! He then got a significantly higher offer, he was decent and offered to pay any out of pocket costs.
I duly went and spent the money on something else (poorly performing shares I think) and a week later he came back and said the guy had rocked up with a cheque book saying I promise I have money. Doh!
Fast forward 10 years and once again I find a car and do the deal. Drive 2 hours- no car- wait an hour- no car- drive halfway home - phone rings- sorry mate! and of course now I can't get hold of him.
This time I have kept the money.
so can anybody help?
I have £6000 to spend initially and I am chasing around 600 horses so ideally at least most of the work will have been done lol!
Prefer LWB, manual and British, but right now I have a wedge burning a hole so happy to buy SWB jap auto if that's what it takes.
So please does anyone know of anything out there that isn't on the normal sites like eBay and Gumtree or is there something out there not described properly or of course would someone on the forum allow their Zed to move house.

The car looks great in the pictures but has come back on an HPI check as declared "Cat D Vehicle Damaged" in 1998. It does shout off the page at me (mainly saying "buy me buy me") I just wondered what the consensus of opinion is as to how much it is worth. And also if anyone knows the car any further info would be great. Any help will be greatly appreciated and exchanged for beers at a subsequent when I finally buy one. Many Thanks in advance.
