  1. i got a set in my bedroom to go in when get my EProm, 1mm = 14/15PSI ?

  3. when you turn the lights on 1, you are supposed to get lights on dipped? (aka sidelights) however dont seem to have this happening. ive got main beam, and full beams (in the same headlight, 2 different bulbs) i havent got the fog lights connected, do the sidelights come on in the fogs? or are they in the main headlight and i have a fuse gone or something. or do the JDM cars dont have sidelights? (Cars in for MOT today)
  4. um no i dont think they would have been able to tell the clucth was slipping 1000 miles ago, as it only could have just started to slip.
  5. yea, id changed the side repeaters, but wire was tight and came undone when put back in. :rolleyes:

  8. can someone advise where the indicator fuses are? hy hazards work fine, and all the bulbs work. but have no indicators?? is it footwell or engine bay? which one on here isit?

  10. £520? depends what one you get really. i had an exedy single plate for £200. denough for my spec really (stage 1 mods) if you can fit it yourself great. if not about £200 labour
  11. yea my PAS pump has gone caputt at the mo (or have a leak or something) no PAS is deffo not very nice when trying park etc, dont notice it when driving. especially with 9J wheels lol
  12. has anyone removed the power steering completly? i mean the pump, imagine is quite heavy. then blocked off the pipe on the steering rack?

  14. yea its for the standard gauge in the car, you know, the in-accurate one lol. fine to have disconected/removed. just make sure you have the balance bar blocked off tho, as will result in vacuum leak :)
  15. here is the origonal setup. the sensor is on the right of the pic, labeled boost sensor lol people have been goin wild on the pic lately and editing it to show what they have :) are you trying to say your car doesnt have the standard sensor? or just confused about the previous diagram
  16. dont understand what you mean. the drawing is correct, there is a boost sensor there? i beleive its on the other side tho, as that pic is for the US/left hand drive. have you got a problem with your boost sensor or a vacuum leak?

  18. my mate has just asked to look at his focus, thermostat, beleive they are on the back of the engine on them? anyway lead me to think where is it on the Z?? im asuming its by the pipe where the temp sensor goes? or isit on the back of engine? just out of curiosity really, nothing wrong with mine (at the mo lol)

  20. Throttle position sensor maybe 1 to check also.
  21. check & clean the PTU & water temp sensor, theres a real good vacuum thread here.... check each one i would, and double check all the IC pipes are done nice and tight. ive had the same issue, just make sure all the above are sorted, then have a potch with the idle valve (off and clean it, then give a good few turns & see how that goes)
  22. ah cheers dude. i like knowing and understanding the engine more, developed my mechanical skills loads working on a Z, so much to learn!
  23. sure in the even of a claim they would have opend up the ECU & the wastegate pipes to check :wack:
  24. yea sorry, know where the actual valves are, was refering to the pipe that goes from the PCV to the idle valve :)
