  1. Bled now :) gave to garage as i coudnt sort. they said was a bit if air init, and adjusted the pedal to the maximum. bighting point is right at the floor they say, but car drives they say. hope its ok for me!, can get used to it i supose at the floor
  2. just taking a look at the engine bay, the 2 tubes you insert the jets to (as per this guide) http://www2.zhome.com:81/ZCMnL/PICS/boostJets/boostJets.html where do they run from? i think i have 1 of the tubes plugged with a screw, as i think it went to the re-circs, but removed the recircs so just blocked it up. i think they need to go to the ones from each wastegate? same location each side?
  3. yea i understand, car will be on stage 1 mods, same as you had on yours, so hoping to be about 4 seconds odd 0-60, thats TT engine with NA diff, on 15PSI
  4. tricky one, what will my TT do top end, but with the NA diff i have installed?
  5. yea know it goes back to the turbo, but loads and loads of turbos dont run a re-circ and are fine, think its just over engineered bits that are pritty pointless. as much use as the EGR
  6. just trying to get opinions on the viscus, i know it does a good job cooling the car, but what about the sound? does make the car/engine sound "bus like" from outside, (on low revs/idle anyway) when going fast supose the noise isnt noticed as the exhausts over rule it
  7. ok mate will do, yea the 5th gear confising me 2, as cant even select it when engine off. ive read on here that if the pedal didnt need adjusting before, dont do it now. will report back next week after the garage have hada look.
  8. you havent said youve cleaned the PTU. that is the usual culprit. caused mine to stink of petrol then flood and not start. remove it & scrape the green gunk off each end
  9. yea straight forward-ish job to do, theres 2 bolts at the the start of the downpipe, then 2 bolts at the end of the down pipe (cat is at the end of the downpipe) as someone mentioned, just either bug up the pipe that goes to them, or just remove the AIV completely.
  10. if they are leaking air then yest that would casue a missfire. easiest thing to do is to just remove them completely, and bung/block off the intake & IC pipe
  11. thanks for replies, ive booked it into the garage, was having a chat to them they said the Nissans are a pain in the arse to get the clutch back after the fluid has gone. they have Vacuum bleeding & pressure bleeding kits there they use so gonna try that. gona asume the master & slave arnt leaking, as workt fine before, and cant see any fluid dripping from either
  12. il check that later, when we are pressing the clutch in, the fork is only moving a small amount. it will move when we move it by hand, but the pedal isnt moving it enough yea we are bleeding it correct, there isnt any air coming from the 2 bleed points, just fluid. maybe theres an issue with the master cylinder? adjusting or something? clutch is coming all the way up, but no resistance??
  13. anyone? gonna have to book into a garage if not
  14. get some chrome rims to match ;) lol na just get some matt black paint i go over it
  15. the air con is behind the glove also
  16. no i havent. just to advise, ive converted the car from auto to manual. the pedal is from my manual car, and workt fine, ive not adjusted it tho? the pedal goes to the floor, and rerturns fine, just its way too light?
  17. tried rocking the car today, stil no difference. i put the car in gear then started it, just to make sure it was free. what next then? heard someone mention "pressure bleeding"? dont wana buy a braided line if still got the problem? was all working before the conversion. all the parts are from my old working car, (master & slave, box, clutch, pedal, shifer, clutch line etc)
  18. why would you need to change it? how is it upgraded?
  19. thanks for that, il give it a bash, (car has been stood for about 5 months so maybe that) anyone else any suggestions? doesnt seem to be any air coming out, but the clutch pedal is very very light? too light even. just goes strait to the floor, returns all the way up, but goes n too easy than normal?
  20. no, what is that? can you elabarate? i can move the shifter into every gear apart from 5th if that means anything?
  21. doing my head in now, bled it from the slave, and from the one by the drivers headlight. there is no air coming out, just oil, its not activating the clutch fork enough tho? got full pedal, but no resistance, just goes to the floor easy as hell, then comes back up. tips? suggestions?
  22. what are they for?
  23. have you thaught about just welding them? nobody sees underneath the car really, and its a cheaper option (depending on the holes!) is it where its been bangin against the floor? or rust. i welded a plate about the size of a keyboard under the backbox of by Blitx exhasut, as the car was so low kept scraping the floor! (S13)
  24. understand what you mean, but i didnt really post about it freely, just trying to help, last thing he wants is more inconvenience & to splash out more money, i really dont think hes someone trying to steal a Z :p
