  1. Original all the way...
  2. Did you buy that silver V8 300zx that was on ebay for a while?
  3. I love windows 8, always have, always will. Ive got Windows 8.1 pro running on all 5 of my machines and even mine and the wifes phones run windows phone 8! Im looking forward to 10, but I think Microsoft should have stuck to their guns and kept the tiles (metro interface). The world seems to hate change and I feel people jumped on the "lets hate Microsoft for doing some new" band wagon. Actually once you have learnt how to get around in windows 8, and set it up properly, its so much easier and quicker to do things. team it with office 365 and the cloud, i can enter my shifts into a spread sheet on my phone at work, have its save to the phone, cloud and pc at home, then have it print at home so its ready waiting for me. They worked hard on integration between hardware and cracked it i think... Windows 10 should be even better as Microsoft has a history of releasing something bad then much better: Windows 3.1 - Windows 95 Windows ME - Windows XP Windows Vista - Windows 7 Windows 8 - Windows 10?
  4. About a month after buying it, my Z became my daily drive, so I had cancel the classic policy I had it on and find someone else. Most companies weren't interested on finding out that my car is an import. Adrian Flux however quoted me £700 fully comp with one years NCB (been out the country for 10 years), which was cheaper than the MX-5 MK1 I had just got rid of! I haven't had a renewal from then yet...
  5. Paid and book. Ill be outside tescos at 8am. please no one laugh at my lack of paint though...
  6. Tell me you flew a red arrow over the M3 with your GPS to create those pictures!
  7. I once did 202MPH in my first gf's dad's original GT40. I wasnt driving it, just a passenger and must admit, the speed might not have been accurate as this was before smart phones and GPS apps etc. Fastest I've ever driven was 161MPH in a lambo at brands hatch. I do have the video proof of that some where
  8. I pay by DD monthly and its £20.12 £20.12 x 12 = £241.44 Its a tiny bit more at the end of the year, but it helps spread the cost in my eyes
  9. Shagpile is the way forwards. Once you've gone shagpile, you wont go back...
  10. A spring one of course... nothing better than bouncing my way to the garage when my nissan fails to start/run/stop/turn/cool down/heat up/cruise/crawl/open passenger window/wipe windscreen
  11. Ah interesting idea! I assume though that if you get caught, theres quite a fine? I dont think it would work in the UK now as i think vans pay higher tax. I know commercial (van) insurance is higher than car insurance now...
  12. What is commercial tax if you dont mind me asking?
  13. Nothing down here, just lots of sunshine and about 30C :D
  14. I have a Toyota Celica that needs a bit of welding in the rear arches for an MOT. Its two holes on the offside about golf ball size and one hole on the near side of a similar size. Its within 30cm of the suspension hence the MOT fail. Please PM me I you can help me out!
  15. I was recommended these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/55W-HID-Xenon-Conversion-KIT-Headlights-Error-Free-Canbus-H7-6000-8000-10000K-/391000701362?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item5b097539b2 I bought the 6000K set a good 6 months ago now and they are still going strong. They are better than the stock dipped bulbs, but still not amazing, but for £16 you cant complain!
  16. Mine was made from a bit of scaffold planking, 4 pram wheels, a piece of rope and a ride on lawn-mower seat. We lived on the side of the south downs, so it was terrifying down the chalk path ways. Ive still got the scars...
  17. I might be wrong, but doesnt the car have to be dead centre of the weight bridge to get an accurate reading? Your car is parked on the edge, kinda like standing on the edge of the bathroom scales. (I could be wrong of course!, ive never actually been on or near a weight bridge!!
  18. Hey!! I find that extremely offensive.... I love pogoing....
  19. cool thanks. ill have a look tomorrow. The spray nozzle is still there, its just doesn't seem to work.
  20. sorry to hi-jack this thread, but my rear washer doesnt seem to pump out water. I can hear the pump going but nothing comes (!). The previous owner has also disconnected and smoothed off the aerial on the quarter panel. Is it possible he has disconnected the rear wash for some reason? The tailgate doesnt seem to fill with washer fluid (or any thing to be exact!), is there any way I can open it up and check the pip work?
