Daytime Running Lights for the Z32? Yes Or No?
I must admit, i dont like these daylight running lights. They are way too bright and being low down in the ZX makes it worse, I seem to be blinded every time someone drives towards me. I bought HIDs for my car because i couldnt see the road ahead every time a car drove towards me. DLR lights seems a silly rule to me in this country (i can see it working in countries with longer nights/winters/bad conditions) but not now that its summer. If its grey/wet/dark/night i turn my lights on, if its sunny I leave them off...Part of being a driver is knowing when lights are needed!! Sidenote: Stagecoach makes us drive the buses with dipped beams on all the time, apparently it makes the buses easier to see.... As if a 42 foot long white, blue and red box that stops and starts constantly is hard to miss! :whistling:

Red ZX in Eastbourne
 I love giving big "hello, i know you" waves to people who cut me up or do stupid/selfish things in their cars. Its so much better than giving the finger because they spend the next 20 miles worrying: "oh s**t, did I just cut up someone i know?"

UK Nissan 300zx
I think its funny how that car was dry stored for years and is in great condition, but now it will be sitting on some traders forecourt rotting away waiting for someone to pay £6000+ and then get the rot seen to

Red ZX in Eastbourne
Good idea, although Ill have to do it when im not driving the bus: Stagecoach: "why are you running 15 mins late today?" Me: "I was advertising the 300zx forum and had to keep stopping when ever I saw one" Stagecoach: "...?!..."

Red ZX in Eastbourne
Driving around Wilton Avenue in Winkney farm near Hampden Park yesterday and saw a Red OEM looking ZX. Very nice, although the paint looked a bit faded? I was doing "Loops" in my bus so I managed to get a 2nd and 3rd look later on my 2nd and 3rd loop! Was it you? Thats 4 ZXs in Eastbourne (plus 3 in Hailsham) now I know of. We might need to start an "Eastbourne and Area" cell in the South East division!

BBC Not Renewing Clarkson's contract
Should we start a poll on whether Hammond and May will leave with him and start a new car show on Sky/Netflix/etc or Chris evans will agree to replace Clarkson on Top gear? I know that Top gear will not be the same without Clarkson. I know that the BBC have shot themselves in the foot here by getting rid of him, but as you said, they didnt really have a choice. Its a shame really, that one of the best tv shows maybe have been ruined/cancelled (mostly through Clarksons doing if im honest!) Wasn't Jonathon Ross fired from the BBC? Something to do with the waiter from Fawlty Towers? He came back to the BBC pretty quickly. Maybe Clarkson will be back in 18 months time... "This week on top gear, James drives a Ferrari slowly, Hammond crashes a go-kart and I sign a contract with the BBC"

Budget Question...sorry
1- here are some of the links i found from different sources, you are more than welcome to make your own mind up, but I feel there's no smoke without fire: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/apr/03/ed-balls-average-family-worse-off-2010 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/families-are-still-worse-off-than-when-tories-came-to-power-study-claims-10083321.htmlhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26883208 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26883208 http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/01/22/uk-1600-cost-living_n_4644143.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/cost-living-crisis-40-week-3273757 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/household-bills/8791127/Asda-Index-shows-families-60-a-month-worse-off-than-in-2010.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/budget/11482856/Budget-2015-Household-incomes-return-to-pre-recession-levels-IFS-says.html http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/west-midlands-people-30-a-week-worse-5612350 2- I only know a handful of people and they are similar to me, I didnt claim to know all the people in my area and i think i did say that where I live is a big tory area with lots of rich londoners living in country home and wealthy landowners/farmers. 3- im glad you agree that voting is important, I watched "the idiots guide to polictics" on BBC iPlayer. He makes the point that people are willing to pay £££/min to vote on X-factor/american idol/strickly, but they cant be bother to vote for thier freedom. Its well worth a watch and seeing "Ol' Nigel" dressed up as a builder to escape the cameras was quite funny! Can I make the point that Im not trying to make you all feel and vote the way I feel/will vote? You all still own 300's, so no matter what you vote, we are all here to enjoy each others 300 love first and foremost!:thumbup:

Budget Question...sorry
Not having lived in this country during the economic crisis, I cant really agree or disagree. However a quick google seems to show that Uk'ers are worse off now than in 2010 (figures seem to depend on who collated them; Labour, lib dems, BoE, etc) Everyone I know down here (in this rich, tory, landowner part of the country) seems to want the torys gone. Worryingly (and this means a lot to me as im married to a non-EU national) UKIP seems to have pulled the heart strings of a lot of people, especially young people. A few people (myself included) want to vote labour, just to stop UKIP or a UKIP/tory coalition happening. I have been left with a problem though. I refuse to vote UKIP on the grounds that I think they are racist and biggoted and I think leaving europe would be a huge mistake. I refuse to vote tory because of what they put my wife and I through to move back here. I cant vote Lib dem because of broken promises and it would be a waste of paper and I dont really want to vote labour as they dont seem to have a proper plan. I wont vote green as I love cars too much and some of their policies are damaging to my hobby. Suddenly I can see why people cant be bothered to vote any more. Unfortunately politics in the UK seems to have turned voting from "voting for who you like/agree with" to "voting to keep the worse party out". Whoever you vote for (and I refuse to start an argument here!) please do one thing: GO AND VOTE! Remember: 1) If you dont vote, you cant spend the next 5 years moaning about politicians/policies/etc 2) Politicians want people to not vote. Having lived in a totalitarian dictatorship (China) for 10 years, trust me we need to keep our democracy.
