From what I have read it takes 2 years to start the process of leaving (The Lisbon agreement 1992) So odds are we will have a new government and will have another leave or remain vote!

seems very cheap
This was up for £1800, but saw the engine picture and saw most of the coil pack bolts missing. It was a bit too far for me to have a look and decided its one to avoid...

I suspect that is true with that car! I was worried enough going to Brighton in my MX-5! Its not to my personal taste, but if everyone liked the same cars it would be a boring old world so enjoy what your mate has, who are we to knock someone or something anyway...!

Spent a day working on the car yesterday, O/S rear arch is done, grinded down and zinc primed. Ordering the O/S sill and that will be next. However need to get the car out of the container to take the door off and then get it back in and jacked up again!

Conzult Help
So I connected my laptop to my car and got these results: This is with my demist front screen thing on, temp set to 30C This is with the demist thing in the off position This is my friends Z working perfectly My O2 sensor seems to be broken as it never changed from 0.04V. On top of that my IACV-AAC/V reading only changes from 25-27% when the demist is on/off. My car hesitates when sharply pressing the gas. It almost stalls when you try to do a spirited start. Im hoping someone can look at this and suggest a route to take. Im thinking that the O2 sensors and the idle air control valve need replacing and testing the car again.

eBay Zed
I don't know what you are all suspicious about?! I've messaged him for more info and will happily give him my bank details. I wonder if he could help me collect my long-lost Nigerian relatives inheritance at the same time?

EU: Leave or Remain
Completely agree with you. I drive buses and on a Thursday going to the dole office, its not foreigners on the bus. Its white British citizens, single mums, alcoholics, druggies and surprisingly quite a lot of young people with baseball caps on at a strange angle with hoverboards. We have about 20 EU workers from all over, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Italy and they are more hard working than most of our employees, rarely phone in sick, never late, etc. Before I start my diatribe against the UK, Please let it be known that I am totally white British (although I have 1/16 swiss in me), I was born here, lived until I was 19 here and I love it here, I love living here and even after 10 years in China, I still came back with my family because there is a better chance of a good life here... On another note, Britain isn't great any more. It hasn't been since the 60s/70s when the end of the empire concluded. We were only great before because we were THE superpower. Our empire, manufacturing sector and global trade meant every country looked up to us, traded with us, etc, even America. But now with Americas great boom in the 50's, China and India's monumental leaps forward, we haven't got a chance. America facilitated it in many ways, The debt we owed after WW2 (finally paid off in 2005) was used as leverage to give the empire countries their independence (Just look at this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_that_have_gained_independence_from_the_United_Kingdom That's how big we were!) We lost all of our natural resources, our manufacturing and our labour. Then in the 60's, under pressure from America we changed immigration laws to balance with the empire, eg If Brits can go to India, Indians could come here. It was a massive open door policy and had very few restrictions. That's why in the 70's Britain had an influx of people from all over the world. In London before then there were very very few minorities, it was rare to see a Black person or an Indian etc. Now we are just a small rock on the edge of the Atlantic with dwindling natural resources, a small manufacturing sector and one city filled with embezzling bankers. We have a population of 68m people, which is nothing. The Tier 2 (medium sized) city I lived in China had 20m people, There's no way we can compete with economies like that by ourselves. These trade deals that have been set up with China mean nothing. At any point China can wave its hand and we will be thrown into the dark ages. We need the EU to stay a float in this globalized world of electronic money, post panama super trade routes and ebays international program. We will never be Great again in the misty eyed way that I feel the leave group is remembering. We wont have an empire, we wont have a massive work force of children working in factories and cleaning chimneys. The world has moved on since then and Super-Super powers like America, China, India and Russia have changed the game into something we cant compete in. The whole EU is struggling against cheap Chinese steel. If the EU is struggling how the hell are we going to cope by ourselves?

EU: Leave or Remain
There could be so much new red tape in trading with us that things like the airbus wings get re-located to the EU. It might make more business sense to just build them in a EU factory using EU personnel and cut around the new headache of dealing with a non EU state... My personal feeling is that the leave campaign isnt making these type of things clear enough. If you were a share holder and the company director said the company was going to dive into a new market with no experience, you would want to know the EXACT game plan with contingency plans for everything. All I have seen from the leave campaign are things like "it'll be all right" or "We might be like Norway". im sorry, but i need more convincing than people telling me "it will be ok". This vote is the single most important thing this country has ever done in planning for its future. We as the population could seriously f**k this up because of empty promises (from either side) and bad biased media coverage. People need to research the f**k out of this before making an opinion because I dont think there will be any going back after...

Nips Build Thread: The Red Devil
Did some more work on the devil the other day, more tomorrow. Here are some updates: Cup of tea and rest before the storm Spot of de-rusting. Im trying to do everything on each corner before moving to the next. First bit of welding Offside rear part of rear arch rebuilt. Just needs priming and waxoyl'ing. Going back tomorrow to do more de-rusting. I wont weld because my welding mate cant make it, I dont feel comfortable doing it with out him at the moment. Ill change the drop links and check all bushings too. This time next weeks (5 days of work we think) and we will be ready to sort out the drivers side sill... :whistling:
