Climate control faults.
This may not be of help, but My red car kept blowing a fuse and I would only have full beam, no tail lights and no dipped beam. This went on for weeks, some times it would last a few days, sometimes it would be 20 minutes. I could not for the life of me work out what was doing it. Then one day I was changing some interior trim and found the spade connector that connects to the underside of the cigarette lighter socket was broken and was moving around and would occasionally touch the metal handbrake mounting and boom, fuse blows. I did a couple of tests to prove my theory. I changed the connector for a new one, and its never blown a fuse since. All I can say is use that diagram to check everywhere there could be a fault, It could/should/will be the weirdest thing you can think of and stick at it. It drove me crazy not knowing what was wrong and not knowing if I would make it home in the dark with tail lights! I know nothing about Zeds really, but I would be looking somewhere that has been fiddled with in the past by a previous owner, back of the radio, see if any wires have be cut/soldered/insulated incorrectly. then just work you way back to the fuse box shaking and moving things around until it blows again.

What did you do to your zed today?
When I bought the car, most of it was filler. I've spent the past three years trying to get rid of it, but as I can't shell out thousands to get it done in one go it's a work in progress. The arches have been cleared out and treated, I have the pictures. My mocking comment was a little harsh I will apologise, however I feel that unless you are part of the little clique on here, you are not taken seriously. I am here not to own the best car or the prettiest car or spend the most money on car (god knows I can't when my mortgage is £2400/month) I am here for the love of Nissan's, that what ultimatly brings us together. We need to remember that. I am happy with the workmanship as the company I am using do work on all manor of classic cars and I had to wait four weeks for an appointment. Maybe it's not as good as your local welder but they are becoming like hen's teeth down here. Maybe the work isn't up to your standard, but this is my car and it is the way I want it. I respect people's alloy wheel choice or bumper kit because at the end of the day being different is better than being the same. My car has about 3 years left in it due to previous owners lack of maintenance, I have accepted that and am trying to make it the best I can with the funds I have. You are all entitled to your views, although I may not agree with them, so please reply away...

What did you do to your zed today?
The plate was on there when I bought it. He has sorted that. The sills were completely opened up and internal rust cut out and replaced. The arches were also derusted and repaired. He sent me over 100 pictures of everything he did, I just added a few select images here for people to look out (and as it turns out, to mock). I know it's been done properly and will last long enough for my plans with the car. No car lasts forever especially if the previous owners mistreated it (in this case didn't do anything) and you are trying to rectify the problems. It's taken me nearly three years of saving, working on the car and paying people I trust. Sure it's not spotless like some of the cars on here and never will be. I have accepted that. Mocking people for their hard work and love for a car does seem unfair especially as none of you know anything close to the full story or state of the car and doesn't give off a good impression for this club.

Grand Slam
Damn and blast. I was driving during the match, but some of the customers were streaming the match via the bus free wifi, so I heard sections of the match. Sounds like we let everyone down by some poor kicking choices. It sounds like Ireland played very well and would have won anyway... Yet again England have proven we are useless are sport and under pressure. Congratulations to Ireland and may your celebration be better than some of the "celebrations" I saw last night...

Magnificent Motors, Eastbourne 5th & 6th May 2018
My friend and I are going. If we have enough people, do we want to set up a club stand? http://www.magnificentmotors.co.uk/

Well now someone has driven into the Z on my driveway!!!
I did this, all rooms/plugs in the walls are attached to a 16 port router, then into the BT hub. Its so much faster, we have the tv in the bedroom, all the comptuters, PS3 and 4, amp, projector etc all cabled. Only things on the wifi now are the phones. I have two CCTVs hard wried in too. I just ran CAT 5e cable from the cameras across the loft under the boards to the 16 port switch and all thier video is stored onto the NAS.

Top Gear2018
Dont worry about that because I am a open-booked, vaguely PC, meat loving, left wing spring chicken and I still love the trio!

Top Gear2018
I enjoyed the first episode. I think its a good show, different of course, but still enjoyable to watch. The friendship between the three seems to be working and matured, it seems they have spent more time together while filming and off camera. I do enjoy the grand tour because of the trio, but I think there is enough room on TV for both shows as they are different enough to fill the space. They are better than some show about essex celebs that I caught the end of the other day!

buying advice
In my very small experience, miles are not a bad thing. The bad thing is rust. You need to check all along the sills on both side, front and back. Check the arches, especially the rear arches as Nissan didnt install liners. Check the boot floor for moisture and rust and if you can check the floor pan. Cars can rust in other places, but those are the main areas. Check the engine runs ok, no smoke, no funny noises, etc. Find out when the last timing belt change was done. One of my cars in on 209K now (a mixture of miles and KMs) but as long as you look after them they are ok. I have two cars an NA and a TT and ive only had one breakdown that was a £60 fix. *touch wood* Good luck and welcome to the forum, if you need any help just ask! P.S we need pictures

I want one.....
I was looking at those while looking for a Toyota 2000GT (pref in white!). I saw they are quite cheap. I was looking at a bright pink Datsun 190Y on ebay the other week that was £1000. I think ill have to just wait and save up for this instead: http://www.tornadosportscars.com/ and maybe, just maybe one day one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAMBORGHINI-MURCIELAGO-ORANGE-Super-Sport-Car-Large-Wall-Canvas-Picture-AU238/232484886189?_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D43782%26meid%3D2a7eede04282412ca2e23ae11630983e%26pid%3D100705%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D232484886189&_trksid=p2045573.c100705.m4780 I should point out, that is a poster of the car I want (correct colour, correct bits, wheels etc), I already have the poster and dont need another!

Rolling road session?
I have never been to one before and I am curious as to how much my cars are producing. Is it expensive to test a car?
