  1. A sideways tree! Sweeeeeet.
  2. Although its a weapon of a car, i think as a car to just look at its horrid. I Don't like its looks from any angle.
  3. I know there are reports that the false widow spider has been in the uk for around 200 years but until about 4 or 5 years ago i had never seen one where i live in essex. I have done alot of work on my property since buying it in 2005. I demolished old outbuildings and sheds and never once came across a false widow...... Now i am seeing them everywhere, they are hiding in every little crack and crevice around the roof line of the house, the sheds, the workshop. I have to check the kids toys in the garage before the kids touch them. I see them everywhere at work too. I see them under customers cars while im working on them too. I am now seeing native spiders dead wrapped up in a web and im sure its the false widows doing it. I have never liked spiders but never went out of my way to hurt them, i always caught them and let them go. But these false widows are just nasty looking things and their bite can on occasion be quite harmful to humans. Just keep your eyes peeled when in your sheds and workshops etc and be cautious when the kids are getting stuff out to play with.
  4. Dont spoil his friday night Jeff [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  5. Dont place resistor into the short harness that goes to the sensor by mistake. Make sure its placed into the ecu side of the plug while disconnected Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. You can place a resistor (i forget correct ohms on this but someone will reply im sure) into the harness that goes to the ecu and this will fool the ecu into thinking that sensor is connected and fine. If this clears the fault it rules out the harness from that point back to the ecu.
  7. As has already been said this could be the harness at fault anywhere in the knock sensor circuit from ecu to and including the sensor itself. If the circuit is open it will show infinite resistance andfault as such. The ecu wants to see a resistance equivalent to that of a good knock sensor on that circuit.
  8. Post here any questions or advice regarding getting your Z through an annual Mot test.
  9. No problem Gary. Maybe a MOT specific sticky could be created? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Its recorded if its diplayed, but if its not displayed it doesnt affect the outcome of the test. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. This isnt checked either Andrew. Doesnt even need to be displayed at all. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. It could read murray mints per yard mate it doesnt matter. It doesnt even have to work. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. It can read anything mate. We dont check this on uk mot. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. Crazy how NI mot regs differ from mainland uk. You would expect it to be the same. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  15. I would start with having a full alignment done on a hunter or equivalent (by someone who knows how to use it). I have PS3 on the rear and really rate them. I never track the car though and it doesnt come out of the garage if its wet. The odd time i have been caught out in the wet they perform very well (im well under 450hp though). I had someone following once in the wet and they had to drop right back due to the spray from the rear tyres which proves they displace water very well. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. Have you corrected rear camber since changing ride height? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  17. 460hp on a wet track in a GT car and your surprised at a lack of grip [emoji848]. Going to stupidly low profile tyres just makes them rock hard. A tyre needs some give in it to achieve grip, also your suspension setup has a huge impact on grip. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

  19. With your Z B ob? Or you coming via Choo choo again?? [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

  21. Plus, if your fogs still illuminate as the posistion lamp it doesnt matter what colour the other posistion lamps are. They are not testable therefore cannot be failed. Yellow posistion lamps are acceptable if within a yellow headlamp. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  22. Thats because you were using one bulb to do two jobs (posistion light and indicator) coopd's has seperate indicators and posistion lamps so is perfectly acceptable. The failure you should have received was "posistion lamp affected by the operation of another lamp" . Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. Count me in :thumbup1:
  24. Cool. Wasnt sure as mine is S4. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
