  1. Console? pfft Id rather get a cardboard box, sit inside it and pretend im driving a car, flying a plane or steering a boat! Voom.
  2. I have heard that you should get an 'expert' to fit a boost controller and not do it yourself. I have a Greddy Profec II B that should be fitted by Zedworld this week. Anyone else fitted a boost controller themselves?
  3. Since i got my ZX last october it never felt totaly firm on the road beyond 70mph. And since i gave it a good ragging at speed 2 weeks ago the wobblyness is worse now. At around 30mph its most pronounced where the steering wheel pulls a bit either way in a rythmn. Is this suspension tracking or maybe a duff HICAS unit at the rear?
  4. I bled my clutch hydraulics 3 times about - on the nipple valve on the clutch slave unit undearneath and the nipple under the bonnet on the left. Dont let the clutch pedal come back up with the nipples open as that could such air back in:- 1. Open nipple 2. Press clutch pedal - keep it pressed down. 3. Tighten nipple. 4. Let clutch pedal come back up. Repeat lots and lots of times with 2 people and try not to get hydraulic fluid sprayed in your face like i did lol. I tried this bleeding thingy from halfords but that was a waste of time. Sorry if this sounds like how to suck eggs :)
  5. I try to have a good diet as well as working out so the only fairly available food that i love is healthy is seafood from asda and sainsbury's, fruit - especially grapes. I dont do it to have a great body but to have good energy levels. When i was really unfit i had bad depression attacks at 3pm at work and thought 'why bother with it all, gripe, gripe'. But now as i am fit my energy levels are good so i am a happy camper much more. Really helps at work where i have to be on the ball - or give the impression that i am ;)
  6. My local GP health centre has useless cows on reception who are engaged most of the time. Often i have to go in person to book a GP appointment. Its not to bad for me but if i was a 80 year old frail chappy who cant get out and about much it would really be a bugger.
  7. GKR and other flavours of karate dont do practice punches to the full extent of the joints which is better. Im a total noob, just started but im enjoying karate a lot.
  8. I did google Kancho and the first link to wikipedia is soemthing about fingers in anal passages that is a hobby with kids !!! And also its a joke when ordering a bill in Japanese. Well some interesting questions to pose at my next GKR lesson lol.
  9. http://www.gkrkarate.com/ oh right lol. Well GKR is established in many countries.
  10. Has anyone heard of Bridgestone G-Grid's cos i have them on my import. Dry grip seems really good - wet is awfull I have 245's all round. The front tyres are a really tight fit in the wheel arch. If the wheel arch cowling comes off a little bit it rubs the front wheel at extreme turning.
  11. The importer i used - autolink who does jap cars generaly gave my zed a full service new cam belts, spark plugs, o2 sensors oil filter and oil change with 6 month warranty as part of the total price.
  12. my jap import had the original factory fitted twin pipe ones. And i like the look of them, i will get a similar look when i get some mongoose exhausts sometime this year.
  13. Im all up for geeking up my zed with techy stuff but i have a Conzult already. What does datascan do that Conzult does not?
  14. My Jap zed has a warning buzzer for lights on. Maybe your one has failed. Has other zders got da buzzer?
  15. Feel for you fella, thats awfull. Such spitefull b*****s need a reality check with a brick wall.
  16. Bum grapes your right. An undertray on my car 5" of the floor might not be good. Arse wind and fire. hmm.
  17. I have a undertray i will put on. I dont like those double speed bumps that would really rip into the engine if i didnt take them right.
  18. Well i do GKR Karate which is the biggest world wide and my mate Jo is a recruiter for the Wolverhampton area. Everyone i have met at GKR are good people. Of course not say we are all angels but its a good crowd generally.
  19. I had a guy ask me last friday as i parked outside of Tesco's 'Is it as fast as it looks', i just said yes and he beleived me. That was cool.
  20. Heh well they made the ZX till 99 i think in Japan. But i hope your ZX is sorted.
  21. 1. My ZX tuned to 500HP 2. Lamborghini Countach 5000S 3. Aston Martin Lagonda 4. 1969 Dodge Charger tuned and modded but looking stock 5. Citroen CX GTI Turbo 6. BMW M1 7. Ford Cortina Estate completly rebuilt by Prodrive with 400HP 2L cosworth engine :P 8. Russian Zil limosine
  22. Myself apart from well known people and traders i will do paypal transactions with other forum members if i deal stuff. I do ebay a lot and sometimes i have been a lazy arse and paid people two weeks late in 3 cases. But of course with ebay they didnt ship the stuff till they was paid and i got reminders. With the ZX club i have been as quick as posible and tried not to faff about as its an enthusiasts club. Going back to a past thread ZX'ers should be very vigilent if they are buying something like a 2nd hand engine that is sold as '100% or really good condition'. And if it goes tits up after otherwise fine running, the crap flies between the seller and the buyer. The ZX is a highly stressed sportscar. Using parts that are not new runs the risk of it failing so buyers should keep that in mind.
  23. I dont know whetever to be angry with bird cos he aint a clue what he is doing or feel sorry for him cos his ZX dream has not happened despite the money he has spent so far. Just take the zed to a recognised garage who know what they are doing - Zedworld, Ztech etc. Getting someone who 'knows something about cars' and you dont know how good they really are is a recipe for disaster.
  24. Its a rubber duck on wheels! Get Mister Matey bubble bath!
  25. Speed bumpers are a f*****g nightmare. Im sure they took out my clutch slave unit. The ones with a bump on both sides of the road make me drive down the middle of the road over them. But some peeps dont like that :wack:
