I don't know yet why mobile phones dont have GPS location service yet. Its a killer application. If your lost somewhere you can look on your mobile phone screen and figure out a route. Even use the mobile in the car for navigation. I am going to fit a smallish Compaq PC inside my ZX with a £40 GPS receiver from ebay. PC will run autoroute 2005. It wont have turn by turn screens but it will keep the map display centralised displayed to the current location.

The XBOX 360 is basically a Apple Powermac with an ATI gfx card. Very fast and using proven technology. But it is to be seen if this time the XBOX can get the better games. The PS3 is very nice for techie nerds like me but because its such a radical new design programmers are having a hard time with it. theinquirer.net reported that a games software company has to spend $20 million just to learn it. Then do some games. Im not a microsoft basher. Its good when their is close competition between two rivals cos the consumer wins. I am very curious to see how the two consoles can be hacked or not to use pirate games. Disclaimer: Pirating computer games is bad and will make you sprout hooves and horns on your head. Pay for your computer games so fat geeks in calafornia can buy more ferraris.

My mate has a Celica GT4 tuned to 400HP. Now i have little experience with performance cars to be honest but this thing was awesome. Never knew a car could go around an average roundabout at 60mph. BMW M3's were chew toys to this. But i went for a 300ZX turbo because its friggin big and fast! I love 80's cars so much. And dont like the diluted sports cars now like the Audi TT and BMW 6 series - they look so dull. You see a new BMW 645 go down the road.. and well its a non event. You see a 300ZX go down the road and it catches your eye.

I loved Kate Bush and she is still hot stuff and in the MILF category. And my Kate Bush 'Whole Story' CD still works fine after being tossed about when i lost the case 12 years ago. Bush power!

My mate Dwarfy (on this forum i think) has told me that a boost controller can lower the boost level so i can get some more mpg. Will a GREDDY PROFEC B SPEC II do the job. And this one from ebay:- Ebay -> Greddy Profec B Spec II With a stock 300ZX turbo how much more can you get out of the turbos without 'serious' damage.. whatever that is! I would get the boost controller installed by Zcentre in Tamwroth. Cheers

Part of this reason is that game devellopers want players to see all the fancy content in the game. I thought Doom3 was hard.. and very dull. HalfLife 2 is the best single player experience i have ever had. Its brilliant. Its difficulty i thought was set just right.

I suspect it wont be hugely hard to get around this. As DVD encrpytion is a doddle to get past with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

WIth the blueyonder speed increases upload speed goes up to 384kbits. Which is better but still not good enough to host a small ranked BF2 server :(

So is the 350Z a worthy heir to the 300ZX?

I was reluctant to get a Evo, WRX or Celica GT4 as i wonder how much stress can a 2L engine take. Tunining one to 400HP sounds like a receipe for a major service every 4000 miles. Im told that the 300ZX is a reliable car if you look after it. Though the 300 ZX from my experience is a dozer compared to a GT4 going around bends. This Gt4 i went in could go around a roundabout at 60mph it was amazing.

I have secured a 300ZX from Japan through Group 20 imports. In total i will pay £5500 for a ZX with 39,000 miles (rather dubios figure this but i suppose in urban Japan you dont need to drive far). It will have a full service, new timing belt and a RAC 12 month warranty. I know a ZX will be expensive to maintain but i want a good one to start with. I love the ZX's no compromise 80's sports car stlying. Its far better than the inoffensive retro styling of sports car's today. The 350Z is not a bad car at all but when it goes down a road people wont go 'woah, what is that' like they would looking at a 300ZX. I am 30 and the only other sporty car i had was an Alfa Romeo 164 3.0. Which was built for Roman road - straight roads. Take it round a slightly wet and it will go straight on, quite scary lol.
