I got my Roadangel 2 plugged it into my laptop and it stayed on 'searching for sattelites for hours' - First time i put it in a car and drove it after 100m of travel it started working. I find the traffic alerts are a pain in the ass so i turned that off.

I check my tyre pressure every day after i realised the thumb prod test is a waste of time on meaty 245 tyres.

Firstly thanks for the tips about fitting speakers. I now have some decent Alpine speakers in the rear. One speaker i had to take apart with tin snips and pliers but it came out in the end. The shit speakers car manufacturers used to and still do put in nice cars is shite. I will take off the door trims on the weekend to put some 6" speakers in. Reet ebay HID kits from OZ. The headlamps in the ZX - the big rectangular headlamps inside the pods do bugger all but the circular lights work - is this normal? I have taken the circular plastic cover on the rear of the circular lamps but i cant get the bulb to pop out of the rubber. From what i have read i think i dont have to take out the whole headlamp pods as this is a fiddly job. Can i just remove the standard H3 bulbs to pop my HID ones in?

From my roadangel 2 my converted speedo is about 8% too fast.

Ive tried to pry the rear rectangular and the front oval speaker covers of without being to aggressive and i aint had any luck. How do i get these covers off? Do i have to wedge a flat blade in at some point to pop a catch? I have some new 6x4 speakers for the rear as the current ones are shot or were always really crap. Cant figure out how to get the covers off.

250 miles for a full tank is what i get in my jap import manual TT. I enjoy going to the petrol stations oddly. I think here you are my beast get some of this down you for more fun and making me feel king of the road.

The side windows have a flap that opens as they could not get normal windows to wind up and down - duhhhh! For sublime eccentric cars give me a Renault GTA anyday.

My front wheels have a 5% / \ camber on them. I guess that might be to help handling. But is this too much and a bad thing. The handling is very good (lowered with 245 tyres all round) but it feels unsettled. I can live with the unsettled feeling but so long as this camber is a positive more than a negative.

I am a pleb and i really need to use a key to open and lock the doors. When i had remote control central locking on my Pug 406 i kept forgeting to shut the car. And the locking up ritual on my ZX gives me some piece of mind.

IMHO really good communication is vital. This can be spoken and un spoken with physical affection. With very good timing get on the level with a women and ask her about her gripes, and such like. I try to do random nice comments like - 'i like that top, you look happy today'. I thinking buying material items does not really do much. To woo a women i try to give the impression that she makes my life great On the other hand the red button for relationship fast destruct is to say her hair looks crap in the morning :mac1: .. btw i am single most of the time and a right slapper - i value my independance to much :rofl:

Well done on getting a ZX, join the obsession. If you look through http://www.autotrader.co.uk you can get a Thatcham cat 2 immobilsor for £60. Fitting is around £80 for someone who is certified. My car is lowered and waxyoil'ed underneath and the dude at Autolink suggested i get it redone every year. In the winter i hear a constant noise of debris from the road hitting the underside.

Ah ok safety mode is bad. I asked the wizards at Zedworld if i could use a boost controller if i could reduce the boost and they said i could not really. If i cant i will live with it. But if i can save even 10% of fuel a week i will make changes.

Yes when i first got my Zed i had really deflated tyres on the front and could not tell. That sounds really dumb but now i inflate them at petrol stations so they are rock hard.

Ordered one of those £120 BUY-IT-NOW ebay HID kits with H3 lamps. Its gonna be great to see beyond 20m in front of my Zed in the dark!

A power washer can make any car look on the outside and under the engine bay. AUCTION GRADE sounds like a disclaimer when the buyer finds out he has a £2000 repair bill on his hands! I got my imported ZX with a 6 month warranty. That already has paid for a new clutch :)

To help fuel consumption i want a switch or something that will put my turbos in safety mode. How could i do this plz?
