The ZX can do tight fast corners lol. Not so sure in mine. But i have much to learn.

I still have the original Panasonic battery in my zed and i think it cant give enough juice to my HID lights. What ampage replacement battery should i get? I have a nearly unused (being recharged now) Halfords 520A battery from my old Alfa Romeo 164. Is this pokey enough?

Ah after doing more Conzult stuff i think i have an air leak in the turbo system which would explain the engines 'hesitation'.

The engine feels a bit restricted around 2,500 - 3500 rpm in 2nd gear. And similar in third but less so. Conzult is not reporting any error codes but the orange 'check' light comes on every time i i turn the key to 2nd position before ignition. And this light popped on since i drove the car at -4c during the xmas break. But the tightness goes a bit once the engine has been running for 10 mins and is warmed up. Any ideas plz?

I go to Livingwell gym twice or three times a week and go to swimming lessons. I am 30 and learned to swim last october! Im really chuffed My energy levels through the day are much better now. I dont get 3pm depression waves anymore at work.

Very sorry that you crashed you ZX dude. I can relate to your woe as i crashed my ZX 2 months ago. I hope you get your car fixed, looking good and back on the road soon.

I think i got a load of car for spending £6000 on my import SWB TT ZX. I am glad they are so cheap to buy to say a Supra and MR2's (bleugh!) But as said its a huge false economy getting a pretty looking ZX for £2000 from a small main road garage that needs more fixing than the space shuttle.

Mandy was a devout christian but she also had a pronsity for loosing her rag. Bedfordshire police often visited the Mandy household and when they did they always took a van and at least 3 coppers. She slashed my car tyres once and chased me for a mile with a meat clever. I have purchashed a Conzult system from Dta-motorsport.co.uk for £280. I think it will save me money in the long run in being able to deal with little engine problems before they turn into big expensive ones.

My ZX is a mortgage on wheels lol. I still live with pop. I could get my own place but i would be on the breadline. Maybe someday i will grow up, but not soon :tongue:

Im not a zealous Microsoft basher. It's horses for courses. Work needed a new server so i got a Dell Poweredge 2850 with Windows 2003. Im a Linux fan. But my IT juniors dont have a clue with Linux. So fileserver, VPN is Windows 2003. But i do have a Linux server for doing all of the web and database stuff. And i document what i do. Tis the tyranny of IT people that they walk away from systems no one else have a clue what to do with.

I am a LAMP developer - Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP. PHP works really well with MySQL database server. And my LAMP server will thrash the pants of a Microsoft IIS server any day. And its all free. But i am tempted to try .NET with a err borrowed copy of .NET studio. But then i am on the Microsoft treadmill and have to use all there products. So i would need a server with many GB of memory in a £4000 server for all these elephant services and applications to run. But with LAMP i can run it all on a £250 server from ebay - Proliant DL580 with 4 x Xeon 700mhz and 1GB of RAM.

I have a steering wheel shroud thingy as a visual deterrent as well as my insurance mandatory CAT2 alarm that cost me £130 for it and fitting.

I have installed a HID kit, the ebay one from OZ. When i turn them on for a split second i get a very powerfull beam then they go to 'normal' which aint much brighter than normal lights. So i still have to use my front fog lights to help me in dark country lanes. Mine is a jap import TT SWB. And when i put the HID's on the interior and dash lights dim noticebly. Perhaps a new battery would sort it hmm. My HID kit black boxs (ignitors?) are in rubber cases attached to convenient mounting points in the engine bay with tie clips. It dont look pretty but they are very secure.

Intranet is a usually single portal for employees of a company to do more efficient business processes that otherwise would be done with paper based systems. For example purchase approval can be really sped up by using signed adobe acrobat documents. Someone submits a capex approval with a PDF and the people who have to approve it pick up the PDF and digitally sign it and get it approved much quicker. Also an Intranet can have health & safety and new employee information. They are very good if you work for a company that makes stuff and have ISO quality procedures. Its a good chance to get managers on your side with IT initiatives. I am working on a Intranet for my company. A lot of Intranets get neglected and fall apart over time if people in the business dont get or see any value from it for themselves.

Epson were dire many years ago. But i have had an Epson R300 for 18 months and it rocks. Very good photo prints on glossy paper. A full set of 6 (i think) color cartridges is £20 which is a lot better than rip off HP.

Welcome to the world of Zed. The ZX is a great cruiser. And tonight when i was driving back from the swimming baths i squirted the throttle on an empty long road and was laughing like a crazy man. Rear wheel drive car needs respect. Or in my case as this is my first one i sort of realised i should start driving properly. FWD cars can handle sloppy driving. Dont accelerate going on a bend and no dramtic sharp steering i have learned. Though my back end is still way to floaty for comfort. HICAS disabling kit i think and some Goodyear Eagle F1's should sort it.

Some men are total assholes how they leave a partner in the shit with there kid - had to get that off my chest. I have dated women with kids before. I understood i came 2nd after the kids but still had a great time. How the kids were was a reflection on the mother. If the mother knew how to give lots of love and the right discipline the kids were fine. The kids of one women i dated were hilarious. Bizarely since i got into trouble with the Police 5 years ago (no specifics so nerr) I have developed a better understanding of the bizarre, mundane and awfull stuff they have to deal with. Often they have to try and be a honest broker between people who want to rip each others heads off. They are human so its not perfect I had a particulary violent girlfriend once - mad mandy, who in a rage had to be dragged into the back of a police van by 4 coppers. All got bruised and one got her finger bitten. But the Police were sympathetic to the overall context of the situation and gave her a caution. Life is so weird and as a copper i imagine they get it in full Technicolor with THX surround 24 hours a day.
