  1. 31 and i hope to have all my hair when im 41, 51 and 61
  2. haha! I thought the Profec II B unit was as big as a car stereo. Well glad thats sorted lol
  3. My SWB boot and back screen needs a gentle closing action. If i use a bit of force to slam the boot shut it just bounces back. Its not a big problem so i put up with it.
  4. I just dont get why idiots get bodykits for feeble cars. Its like wearing a t shirt that says 'i dont have a big dick but instead i have put a potato down my pants and its obvious and im telling you that its a potato down my pants!' So sad.
  5. I am getting a Greddy Profec II B next week and i dont know where to put it as i have a Sony radio\cassette and Sony CD units in the centre console. The Sony CD has a big graphical equaliser that i love (sad aint i). I was thinking of having the boost controller box velcro'd to the right side of the centre console. I dont think it would hinder my left leg that much.. hmm
  6. Oh right, got the wrong end of the stick i thought he fabricated stuff himself - duh! So yeah a bum deal for sure :(
  7. Well i suppose something like fibre glass would need torsional stiffness so it would not twist or buckle. So perhaps some sort of ribbing or a metal sub frame. My big rear spoiler is all fibre glass and it is very rigid.
  8. Wicked. I did think of getting a cheper Greddy Profec B II from ebay. But as these things need to be 100% correctly setup i shall order one from you Chris when i get paid on the 20th :)
  9. From the pics ive seen on the forum people fit the lcd monitor where the 2 DIN stereo slots are, like in Legrath's Zed. But i want to put mine where the centre ventilation grilles are, as mine do bugger all for pushing out air. I just need to modify the centre console rectangular fitting to take the 7" LCD monitor at the top without it looking shabby.
  10. Would fitting a Greddy Profec B II allow me to really reduce the boost levels and give me more mpg?
  11. In the Layers windows at the bottom left put a tick in 'Google Earth Community' That turns on and off the gatso icons for me. Yar it is war of the worlds. I have the original sound track, musical piece, its great.
  12. At work i often peer at the Earth with Google Earth as would a scientist examing bacteria in a dish (name the film  ). I noticed that it also has location icons for Gatso speed cameras and the speed they work at. I dont know how often Google update the Gatso infomation but if your planning a trip it might be worthwhile having a look on Google Earth if you dont have a Roadangel or TomTom.
  13. I get 230 - 260 for £54 with Optimax on my Jap SWB TT commuting. A fair bit of time im stuck in traffic crawling along. On a motorway run i get around 270-290.
  14. I will stick with the 7200rpm 120GB 3.5" hard drive. Ickle laptop hard disks are so slow it does my head in. I was thinking of putting the hard disk in a 5.25" cage with foam around it so it can bob about a bit taking the shock. And the PC would be attached a more rigid rectangle of foam with velcro strips so the PC case can take some shock too.
  15. I am getting a 7" TFT monitor with my next pay. For a PC i got a £100 ebay Compaq EN P3 1ghz. I will spray it black and put it on the shelf inbetween my front SWB seats and the boot. Need some sort of shock absorbing thingymagig so the hard disk does not die from constant shocks of my lowered zed.
  16. IMO these all in one security packages are far more hassle than they are worth. I dont use a firewall. Have AVG anti virus and do a Lavasoft Adware spyware scan once a week.
  17. Looks really nice. The car looks very sharp now :)
  18. It smells of a fraud to me. Lots of bids for such a one off car and all the queries were done on the 9th February.
  19. Meeting strange women from the internet, computers, ZX, reading and spanking the monkey
  20. What a pile of ****. Give me Mad Max anyday :)
  21. IT manager for a reseller and manufacturer of titanium things for mostly aerospace and militery customers. If you want to sell your house to refit your ZX with titanium parts im yer man

If someone has no education and the idea of taking accountability for their actions is to much for them then religion is a great bandwagon to get on. 'You insulted my religion so i will blow you up' - thats easy to say, might make you feel good but your a loser if you think that. And these extremists give other arabic people a bad name. If you chat to people on the net from all over the world you realise that everyone has the same basic needs. However the oil producing arab nations had better get there heads of out of there asses cos soon we wont need oil and if they dont educate and invest in there downtrodden people they will go back to the stone age and stay there.
  23. I love the ZX cockpit how i can have the right elbow on the door ledge thing and the left elbow on the centre storage lid - and have both hands on the steering wheel. The ZX has the best cockpit of any car i have been in. I dont like the modern cars silver plastic flash gordon-esque look.
  24. Im thinking of putting the battery in the boot a'la Alfa Romeo style. Moving the weight onto the back wheels would be good i thought. Thing is how do i run chunky high ampage cables through the middle of the car, hmm.
  25. The new Battlestar Gallactica - IMO the best sci-fi ever on the big or small screen.
