Wheel and arch pamper
Woah. That is dedication mate, id have one bloody clean one and a to do list with three wheels on it with that many spokes to clean. Slightly off topic how do you find those new toyos? I used to swear by the t1rs on smaller cars?

My latest project
Just realised if they are the rx8 seats that I think they are, they don't go forward do they. Because rx8s are crazy 4 door things?

Treating your zed
Well it had a zedworld manual conversion about 30000 miles ago. I assume it had new oil then on what i assume was a reconned box but i dont know. Hollings may have bought someones gearbox and zedworld fitted it. Its a bit of a stumble into fourth and fifth and a stiff double cluch sod into first. Fine when you work hard blipping and matching but arround town its a but metalilic.

Treating your zed
I am going to treat my zed, I have never had a car that responds so well to a treat. It is sat a bit dirty and my girlfriend bloody curbed it yesterday so its not very happy. So ive ordered some redline mt90 gearbox oil. Ill do oil and filter too. Then clean polish and give it a tank of v power. Its the last drive arround the roads i know before i drive up to Lossiemouth on wednesday in it. Ill let you know how it responds.

help please, I'm stuck. Hicas bush.
Done, got the hub off and took it to a garage to ado with a press. I know i made a song and dance about it but a lot of bolts were seized rusted rounded etc. Thank you all for your support and you will be happy to know the steering feels almost firmer and is more responsive now. A bit more difference than my strut brace made. Quite suprising.

Well I went to 3 garages today and they charge 45 quid or so an hour and are expecting it to take minimum of 2 hours a side to do in situ on the car, longer to remove the hub and do it. However found one garage that were quite happy to stick the hub on a bench and push one out and a new one in. So hub to come off tomorrow. I'm getting there, learning a lot and buying big sockets and hub pullers and all sorts.

Nissan 300zx and 3 problems in 3 days!
People are going to ask for pictures mate :-) All I know is mine Idles high till it warms up, bit lower if you switch the air con to econ mode. Should settle below 1000. Clutch kick lol I just flex my right foot slightly.

help please, I'm stuck. Hicas bush.
Day two over perhaps tomorrow I'll get it done. 10 till 5.25 only stopping to motorbike in the rain for parts. Nearly taken the whole hub off now to get it to a garage to do on a bench. Just the handbrake to dismantle and a very very stubborn bottom bolt. I have dug myself a big hole here. Thanks so much for the advice I worry that I'm just rubbish at this.

help please, I'm stuck. Hicas bush.
I am planning to spend an hour first thing in the morning when I'm not knackered and cold trying to get it out. When I don't manage I'll take both hubs off and take them to a garage with the new bushes. Hopefully the redwine 300 method will work, because I bet the rest of the hub is pretty well on there after 23 years.

Bit of physics is all it needs then you reckon. So carefully grind the rearward lip off, heat it up, smack the thing out towards the coilover. Then heat the hole, cool the bush and slip it in. Do I need to buy a gear puller I just wasted 12 quid on a useless bush press, I'm sure I'll use it some time.

spoiler on-- jae 2013 thread ---
Yeah, I can't see a bloody thing out of mine, I keep meaning to put my rear view mirror on my dash above the vents, to look under the spoiler rather than at it. If mine is 1/2 height, that one is 3/4 high, im sure ive seen some proper supra hoops that are 4/4 tall. Whats that mondeo sized alfa romeo with a spoiler like that? I looked it up its the 156 that had a big tall spoiler.

Yeah the hammer worked. And I gave the inboard end a good jiggle about and it seemed solid. Even if it didn't need replacing it bloody well does now lol. I stopped when it got dark, tomorrow I'm gona take the whole hub off and take it down to a garage for them to press it out. There is no room to get any good force on it and I can't pull on the nackered threaded bar. What an absolute arse that has been!

Have I missed something obvious here. A will not go right, not with all my strength I have pulled muscles trying. I have loosened B, to no avail. Do I need to take it off at C? This is stupid 3 and a half hours I've been on this drive. Thanks again.

Thank you, that is what I'll do then, but how do I get the toe arm off? Slacken the adjuster then pull towards the back of the car? Didn't want to mess up my toe settings.
