  1. Hi, no I just bought ET35 offset rear wheels and ET25 fronts with no spacers, both sets 18” wheels. But as someone earlier mentioned, you can just plonk on some 10mm hubcentric spacers on the rears, and that should sort your problem out, much cheaper than buying a new set of wheels. I’ve attached some photos so you can see the fitment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I second this; when I bought my new wheels during lockdown, I went off the advice of the club members and ET35 worked out to be a beautifully flush fit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ah yeah I saw this video, great watch. Love how the engine bay looks [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yep sure, I'll PM you now.
  5. Hi Andrew, Wise advice as always - many thanks, it's appreciated.
  6. Nismo bushes came today woohoo [emoji2][emoji1][emoji16]. Whatever bushes Nismo didn’t sell, I sourced energy suspension ones. Shipping was quite impressive - CZP came in 3 working days as usual and Greenline motorsports Japan delivered all the Nismo ones within a week too. Look at the super cool Japanese newspaper they used in the packing! Just speaking with the garage now, arranging a date, probably for late October. Works will only take 2 weeks thankfully, so the zed won’t be down for too long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yep fair enough Richard, my bad. Always go too far when it comes to politics, so usually try and stay out of it these days! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah I saw all that, there were perfectly capable and experienced British smaller companies, who were refused the chance to bid, just so the govt could hand the contract to their friend/relative, and get a gargantuan thank you brown envelope under the table. I wasn’t at all surprised when that all came out tbh, it wasn’t a question of it happened, it was a question of how big of a scale it happened at. If you watch when Keir talks, I love how he puts down and outsmarts all the idiotic BS comments Boris makes, and whilst doing so, he indirectly humiliates him. All done with class. Not in a shouty, directly humiliating or look at me way like boris/trump do. Love it!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I always thought what if that devil thatcher actually reinvested into all our British car companies, we could have been a great balance of payments surplus I.e selling more British high value goods than buying/importing so essentially be a great economic superpower like Germany. And of course applying that same theory onto all other sectors but instead no they sell everything off to line their pockets, and the public just ignore/accept it. They think it’s going to benefit them but in actual fact it benefits the top 1%, which we most definitely are not!! Corruption is rife in British politics, like the companies they did deals with for the Covid crisis, but the only difference between the east and west, is the west carry out corruption in the shadows without the public fully knowing, and the east just do it in plain daylight with the public watching. 10. Well I’m glad someone out there shares my views and has an ounce of intelligence [emoji1417]. Well said, well said [emoji1433][emoji1433][emoji1433]. Now let’s go and hunt that absolute c**t Nigel Farage... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wow really haha, didn’t realise that was so close to home. I reckon some of the proper organised meets he goes to would be good, rather than the car park meets they do sometimes. Will keep a look out and let you know which shows sound good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. 100% right. They’re saying they’ll try local lockdowns to try and calm down the increase in cases and telling London commuters to work from home, which is the better route to be honest. Agree closing the economy again will be disastrous. Can not afford for that to happen. It is difficult however getting the very fine balance between keeping the economy ticking along and saving lives. Time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Couldn’t have said it better myself! Oh well at least the 400z grill is no where near as bad as the BMW’s, that’s the main point to take from this. I’m just happy they’re releasing a turbo and MANUAL gearbox Zed that’s not sharing a platform with another manufacturer, cough cough supra BMW Z4. Can’t ask for much more in this day and age [emoji1417]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Haha I made the fatal mistake this summer of putting off replacing the ac compressor, especially since I drove it everyday! I forgot the zed is a greenhouse. Definitely on the list for next year before summer! And too right, our cars are reliable if maintained properly I done 4K miles since March/April, and not missed a beat [emoji2]. 15. You’re right actually, it is actually a thing nowadays - not a fan. I can stomach the Audi grill but the bmw one is taking the absolute pi*s!!! I’ve never seen a more hilarious grill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. If they really do release it with that gigantic grill, there will be an immediate offering of aftermarket front ends to address this issue I’m sure! So I wouldn’t be too worried tbh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Cheers Tom [emoji1417]. Exactly yeah, it was worse as I got told to go back to work but only part time for now thankfully. I couldn’t exactly say no boss I’m ill, after having 3-4 months off on furlough! Been standing and working on laptop as couldn’t sit for longer than a few minutes before. Getting a lot lot better now though as got painkillers last week from the docs so can walk loads. This should in turn cure it in next two weeks fingers crossed. Anyway yep definitely arrange something for next month. This youtuber AdamC3046 he’s got a website I think where he lists the upcoming meets, so I’ll see what he has. Might entice more people if there’s lots of other cars to see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Really sorry to drop out again Tom but I had a leg injury recently which although is now healed, I got sciatica nerve on my left leg because of all the lying in bed! So can’t drive too far at the moment, especially as it’s my clutch leg. Next time though. There’s this YouTuber who lists loads of random car meets on his social media and he’s into jap cars. He goes to loads around the uk every week or two. Some have club stands too. Seen a couple 300zx’s at the meets. I’ll message you more details, but might be worth going to one of these meets. 19. Next on the to do list before winter hits is to take car to a Jap performance car specialist to do the following; - strip all under seal and remove everything from the chassis including brake hardlines and all suspension parts etc. Apply new under seal - get rust on sills cut out and new metal welded in - get all suspension parts powder coated - fit some new Michelin PS4 tyres to the rear, to match the fronts, as the old Nexens have been battered and bruised by my summertime driving [emoji41] and obviously a full 4 wheel laser alignment Pictures and updates to follow once work starts [emoji1417]. 20. I had the full 120k service done and oil change, the power steering return hose replaced, all timing cover bolts replaced with a genuine oem set (massively overpriced!), coolant flush, engine bay fuel hoses replaced and spring clamps fitted, and my ebc repaired. Even though my engine last had the 60k service done approx 25k-30k miles ago max, it was done 7 years ago. The maintenance schedule states every 60k or 4 years. My point is that although the condition of the timing belt was ok, the water pump had a leak forming and all the various seals that get replaced had turned rock solid. So you should always follow the maintenance schedule, as they’ve been written with those intervals for a reason! Don’t ignore it. Some of the photos Jim took below of the service. 21. Wow it’s been a while since the last update. Just picked the car up from PowerZed today. Jimmer really is the only man to be working on these cars and he’s super friendly to boot. I don’t know why I’m so surprised by his excellent service and knowledge, since everyone on this owners club always raves on about him, I should have expected it. I guess because in comparison to my local cheap garage who I always have to watch to make sure they’re not doing anything wrong, it’s lovely for the first time ever for me, to be able to relax and leave your baby in the hands of a true professional. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Happy birthday mate, hope you have a good one [emoji1417][emoji16]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah I want to show mine too but that’s for next year. Needs the respray doing early next year at some point and all external trims replaced then it’ll be upto standard. Will probs book tickets to go to the show anyway though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah it is indeed at PowerZed - picking it up tomorrow. Have you been down there recently? I do love Rx7’s but I also love this car to bits mate sorry. Going to keep it for the long term. Even if I didn’t absolutely love it, after I rust proof and powder coat the chassis in next few months, I’d have spent more than the purchase price since I bought it! so that would stop me selling it anyway haha. Good luck with your search [emoji1417]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Assuming weathers half decent, yes definitely up for this. Sad I missed the recent one but the car has been at PowerZed - collecting it this week at some point yay [emoji16]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
