  1. Agree with above. Machanical issues are one thing, but rust, that's another big problem all together.
  2. Some great work!:thumbup1: Worth checking that the paint on the Viscous coupling has not made the shaft movement sticky. Be careful though, the internal mechanism is very delicate.
  3. Superb engine bay Gary! :thumbup1:
  4. Passed MOT! No advisories. Happy days.
  5. Cheers Russ, I think it is 1988, it's an M6 of some sort. It was built to order. something like 48 of them made. Highline, or something like. I will try and get some more details on Monday if that's ok Appreciate your help mate.
  6. C4 T I think Russ, i am not sure to be honest. If it is the relay, is there a quick fix?
  7. My boss has a BMW in storage with no main battery installed. It has a Thatcham Toad alarm fitted that seems to respond once we fit the car with a new battery. Locks, unlocks etc' Only problem is, we are not getting a voltage to the fuel pump. Could this still be an alarm immobiliser issue due to its onboard battery having gone flat? Is there a way to simply disable the alarm completely? or do we have to wait for the alarms onboard battery to re charge? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Redwine300
  8. It is possible to replace these in situ. Not ideal i know, but doable. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?161408-Outer-HICAS-ball-joints. By the way, that looks like damage on your rear tyre!
  9. Thanks Baz. :thumbup1:
  10. Cheers Russ! I guess it's the thought that counts.
  11. Thanks guys, appreciate your best wishes. p.s. loving the picture of the cake Gary.
  12. Came across this today, thought it worth a mention. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRESH-IMPORT-1998-NISSAN-300ZX-FAIRLADY-3-0-TWIN-TURBO-RARE-MANUAL-PEARL-WHITE-/271893395675?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4e1bf8db
  13. Good luck mate, can't have been an easy time. Looking forward to seeing the car finished and back on the road.
  14. Picture paints a thousand words! We can only imagine what they all must of gone through. Respect.
  15. Glad to see you got to put a run in, the last I saw of you was stuck in traffic. I must say, it seemed a little disorganised to be honest. There just seemed no schedule of events.

  17. So with Jeff retired, I take it that ZedWorld has ceased trading then? Shame if that's the case.
  18. As above. Maybe worth drilling out a spare nipple to use as a guide bush. (Must be a good fit and concentric mind) This way you may be able to recut the sealing face?
  19. Congratulations! Epic work to get that done in the time.
  20. Maybe worth contacting Oilman, he is listed in the traders section.
  21. Welcome to the club mate. You have come to the right place. Personally I would go for a twin turbo manual, but I am a bit biased. Good luck with your search. Where abouts in the west midlands by the way?
