  1. OK guys We have nine on the list for Sunday (including a couple of maybe's) so I am gonna stick my neck out here and order 10 passes today, for the Sunday We need at least four more if we are going to attend Easter Monday as well (the only day I can attend) So if anyone else wants to come on the Monday then please put your name down and I will order the passes in a couple of weeks. If any more want to attend on the sunday I will order some more sunday passes at that time, if there are still any available cheers Rich
  2. OK Guys, I need to order the passes for the Sunday I will get this done after the weekend, as we already have enough for a club stand, and space at the show is very limited (esp on the Sunday) I'll leave it another week or two before I order passes for Monday (assuming we get at least six cars for that day) and for anyone one else who wants to tag along on the Sunday, I will see if I can get any more passes at that time So if you do want to attend please add yourself to the list ASAP cheers Rich

Come one... some one else must wanna do this with me on the bank holiday monday - we only need five more of us to hold the monday torch and we can have a Z presence across the whole bank holiday weekend in front of 18000 visitors! :thumbup1:

  16. Suppose I should follow that lead and add myself too White TT Manual LWB - Stoke On Trent.
  17. Hi folks I've put all the details for this event under the NW events heading http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?175348-Weston-Park-Classic-Car-Show-this-Easter However this event is actually close to Cannock, Telford and Wolverhampton so being near the border of the West Midlands / North West regions I've added a link here so Midlands members don't miss the listing to this big car show cheers Rich
  18. Hi folks There is a big car show coming up this easter at Weston Park This event is organised by Transtar Promotions, the same as the Trentham and Shugborough shows we attended last year Both Trentham and Shugborough were great days out, with a good showing of Zeds, and we certainloy caused a lot of interest Weston Park is situated between Telford and Cannock on the A5 (not far from M6 J12) and is the largest event organised by Transtar - 1500+ cars 18,000+ visitors! Weston Park, Weston Under Lizard, Shropshire TF11 8LE Event Name: Weston Park 27th Midland Festival of Transport Date: 20 April 2014 End Date: 21 April 2014 Event Description: Regulars need no introduction to the No. 1 Easter Event in the UK, now in it's twenty seventh year for this popular and super show which features over 1500 vehicles, 18,000 visitors, large autojumble and tradestand area. Funfair, Simulators and Inflatables plus in the main Arena Act tba plus Piston Rings Junior Motorcycle Display Team. Car Type: All classics Number of Cars Attending: 1500 Times: 10am - 5.30pm Location: Weston Park Area: Shropshire Region: West Midlands Organisation: Transtar Promotions I thought it would be great if we could have a Z presence at this show. The show is over two days (easter sunday/monday) however exhibitors can choose to show their cars on either days or both The cost is £3.50 per car per day and that includes admission for up to 2 adults and 2 kids aged under 15 Anyone wishing to camp on the sunday night can do so free of charge. If you want to make a long weekend of it you can arrive on the Friday and pay £10 per camping unit for the two nights or arrive saturday and pay £5 for the one night (plus remember sunday night is free) There is a lot to do for anyone making a weekend of it - aside from the stately home itself http://www.weston-park.com/ there are many nearby attractions including: Ironbridge Gorge http://www.ironbridge.org.uk/ Blists Hill Victorian Town http://www.ironbridge.org.uk/our-attractions/blists-hill-victorian-town/ The Severn Valley Stream Railway http://www.svr.co.uk/ Now the situation as it stands is that I can only make the show on the Monday, but I do want to attend and in fact I'm a bit annoyed I can't make a whole weekend of it myself ! We only need six cars on each day to attend (but it would be nice to see a lot more!), if there is enough nterest just for one of the days then we will only attend that day. I am sure I can rope in some volunteer to organise things on the Sunday in my absence :cool3: This could be our first big event of the year and sounds like a good time to get the Zed out ready for the summer season. I have the application forms in my hands right now - but really need to get these sent in by the beginning of March so we have two weeks to get some names on the list So what'ya think? Yeah... it's time to get a list started :thumbup1: Let me know what days you want to attend too The List ---------- iangreenfield (sunday) Confirmed dicky96 (sunday) As long as Lee Dent gets my car MOTed! roobarb (sunday) Confirmed sayers (sunday) kjz32 (sunday) Confirmed mark300zx (sunday) Confirmed keymeister (sunday) markderby (sunday) silverline (sunday) 300zx 666 (sunday probably) acraig (sunday maybe) ------------ dicky96 - Monday markderby (monday)
  19. Errrmm yeah...might be a bit late for that lol http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174480-Top-Missus!! However considering just how individual some zeds are I doubt it much likely someone is gonna clone it
  20. May as well have my registration now D2 EDX as I will definitely be there
  21. Put me on the list just for the peak run on the Sunday Thanks PS yes this would also suit members in the midlands - it needs adding to that area forum Rich
  22. I thought I would post up a geography lesson for those not familiar with the Midlands area First of all it's in the Middle of the country lol Here is kind of how the important bits are laid our regards the 25 Years of the Zed For anyone wanting to come to the barbecue/party Coventry Transport Museum to My place up in Stoke On Trent is 66 Miles via the M6 toll. Using the Toll road would cost a fiver each but It would be a great palce to drive our cars especially if we can arrange some video/photography to be done for us from over the Bridges. Maybe member who are coming to the Saturday event but not in their Zeds could help? Stoke to Beaumanor on the Sunday morning is 50 miles via the A50 trunk road and M1. Anyone who can't make the saturday main event, but wants to come to the party or just join us on Sunday for Beaumanor can congregate in Stoke on the Sunday morning for this convoy/show if they wish. Coventry to Beaumanor is 35 Miles via the M69/M1. So this is great for anyone wanting to do the two events but not drive up to Stoke for the party Beaumanor is just of M1 J22 so easy to get to Likewise Coventry Transport Museum is just of M6 J3 I am 5 miles from M6 J15 directly on the A50 Trunk (well 100m from it, not in the middle of it!) So all and any of these venues are fairly easy to get to and get between, whether you want to come to the official event on the Saurday or do the extra's See below A = my Abode B = Beaumanor C - Coventry Museum Green Line = 66 miles Coventry - Stoke (M6/M6 Toll) Red Line = 50 Miles Stoke - Beaumanor (A50/M1) Blue = 35 Miles Coventry - Beaumanor (M69/M1) I hope that helps Rich
  23. Ahh I see I though perhaps you were coming up to the Barbecue/Party after the Saturday main event.... and then on to Beaumanor on the Sunday Rich
  24. Yeah there is lots of cheap hotels here (some hotels like Premiere Inn are only 2 miles from me and as they are next to Stoke City Brittania Stadium they are very cheap in the closed season) More info on this over the weekend. But to cut a long story short there will be a lot of cheap accommodation, and even cheaper if I can get a group booking arranged Rich
