Well today was a good day out, thanks to all who came along. Shame about the somewhat unclement weather but at least it did not rain too much Would have been nice to see some blue sky but hey ho at least we saw some great Zeds Here's some pics......

@dan It's still a great day out and well worth it Also there is the Monkey Forest at Trentham - you would really enjoy that and the kids would love it

Dan my phone number is xxx (mods can delete this in the morning) If you wanna come along and want some almost free entry give me a call in the morning around 9am and I will see if someone can pick you up at the main entrance and get you in the show. Other option is come to the Weathervane at Meir by 9am and take one of the spare passes - most likely you will get in anyway as there are plenty ordinary cars that do get in - they just look for a pass in the window and don't question it. I will still charge you the £3.50 though lol. Thats up to two adults and two sprogs Then just park on our club stand in the corner (we will put you in the naughty corner facing the trees lol) and no one will bother you Rich

Cheers for that Andy - I never thought about powder coating one or colouring one as I wished One thing I have not been able to find is anyone local who does Chroming Anyway mine was ordered last monday and is due to arrive next week - so should have it all in place for the 25 year anniversary :)

@dan You would be better to Park up at Trentham and jump in with someone else (if anyone has only one adult in their car) as that way you get in free and can leave when you like We have to go (err I mean queue up) past the main entrance to Trentham before we get to the exhibitors entrance so it should be possible. We already have two of us in our car though so can't help you directly - maybe someone else could? Rich

Yesterday I spent hours cleaning and valleting the car - and then the sky turned grey and it rained on it booo Today I spent hours washing and polishing the car so it gleamed. Lovely! All ready for the show me thinks. Then the sky turned a horrible dark grey and it RAINED. Again! Why oh why for once cant' we just get a nice day that has the common decency to stay nice :cursing: PS it bloody started again as I finished typing!!!

Just in case anyone is not reading the North West meets forum we have a car show at Trentham Gardens Stoke On Trent tomorrow (2000 cars 5000+ visitors) There are eight of us going but as some had to drop out i have two spare passes. Yeah having done a bit of reading I am also coming to the opinion they don't do very much on the front - but really this is for appearances in my case (as mr zbolt guessed) as it is pretty much a show car anyway. Well at least until I take it onto the track :devil: Thanks to all who gave some advice but Chris (artztogo) if that is the one same as on your car then I think I will go for it as I always admired yours mate :wink:
