  1. I've given the organiser the reg numbers and they have allocated us a club stand I'm assuming that you will both have a passenger, Gray & Ian Keith - are you exhibiting alone or will you have passenger(s) too? I just need to know so I can pay your passes, either £5 (up to four persons) or £3 if you are a singleton You can pay me on the day guys. The organisers have kindly extended the deadline for discounted tickets until next Friday if anyone else wants to join us. After that you can still turn up and show on our club stand on the day if you wish, but you have to pay £3.50 per person in the car. Public attending the show also pay £3.50 and kids are free, which I am sure you will agree is very cheap for this sort of event.. This is being promoted as a 'family friendly' show and the organisers hope to get a very good turnout on the day by keeping prices down Rich
  2. Gray, Keith, Ian Could I have your reg numbers please Cheers Rich
  3. Nice one Keith! Now we need one more to make up a club stand............ The forum expects that every member will do his duty
  4. The List so far ------------------ dicky96 gray (probably) Iangreenfield Is any one interested in participating in the Stunt Driving experience or Off Road experience on the day? It does cost extra though. Stunt Driving £10 as passenger £20 to have a go yourself. Also rides are available in the Knight Rider car apparently.............
  5. wahay nice one! eed at least two more for a club stand :)
  6. Thanks Gray that would be great.... seemed like I was gonna be Billy No Mates lol I saw your car at Lee Dent's - looks like he's done some real good work on it mate. The show is not this Sunday, it's the following one 31st Aug - just need to book us in by this weeked if we are to get a club stand (need a few more for that though) No problem for registering as individuals after that though. Rich
  7. I have received confirmation we can get a club stand if we have five or more cars attending --------------------------------------- Hi Richard, Targeted windscreen mailings obviously work then :) thanks for emailing me. Individuals and car clubs are all welcome but the cut off date for final numbers (if pre booked and for discount to apply) is this Sunday 24th August. What we need for any booking is the reg.no of the car attending so we can add it to the ticket and the club which the car belongs to. Payments should be made using the following link : http://runwaydisplay.biglaunch.net/clubs-only-buy-tickets.html Clubs do get a discount and this is available only via the link £3 per person or buy a ticket for unlimited number of people in the car for just £5. If you can get back to me with all the details and payments by Sunday then we can book you in. If you want a club display area then just say, but we would need at least 5 cars you are more than welcome to bring flags or promotional material with you to put alongside the cars. Look forward to hearing from you Paul Jeffries Organiser for RWD car show --------------------- OK So if we are to get a club stand together I need at least four more willing volunteers before this Sunday :detective: Just to confirm - cost is £3.00 per car with one adult (kids 10yr and under are free) or £5.00 per car and up to four adults Rich
  8. I only just found out about this event when someone left a leaflet on my windscreen today! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?178432-Runway-Display-Car-Show-Stafford-Sunday-31st-August However we can still exhibit - in fact I am going to show anyway as it is quite close to me I thought I would just pop a link here as well for folks who don't read the events forums often as the show is very soon so I need to book us in prety quickly if anyone would like to go It would be nice to meet some of you there, it sounds like a good day out. Cost is £3.00 (per car I think) http://www.runwaydisplay.co.uk/ Rich
  9. I've put all the details for this event under the North West section - however it is ideal for folks in the Midlands too http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?178432-Runway-Display-Car-Show-Stafford-Sunday-31st-August Rich
  10. I was hoping to arrange something different for this date (big secret lol) but I couldn't get arranged parking at the venue on this day So....... I was up town today and someone left a leaflet for this event under my windscreen wiper Runway Display Stafford Car Show The car show offering visitors a diverse range of events and displays to view or participate in. Runway Display is located in Stafford on a former airfield with 5.5 Acres of tarmac to accommodate thousands of cars ranging from modern Super Cars to Retro and Classic rarities! Highlights include a 4x4 Off Road course, Rally track and Stunt drive experience! Children need not be left out as there will be a Bouncy Castle and other rides to keep them occupied. http://www.runwaydisplay.co.uk/ Cost is £3.00 to exhibit - and apparently there are discounts for car clubs This looks like a fun day out - As it is close to me I am going to display my car anyway even if just as an individual (looks like they have lots of space so we can still get in) Is anyone else interested in joining me and waving the 300ZX banner? Obviously I need to move pretty quick on this one so no dawdling now lol Convoy meeting point for those heading M6 south - J17 Sandbach Services. Anyone heading M6 North - there is an industrial estate near M6 J14 we can meet up with you Rich
  11. From the lack of response to which.... I can assume no one actually knows what that particular bodykit is and I did indeed find a mystery non-forum Z  Rich
  12. Nice one Pete glad you are sorted but hmmm I still got no reply
  13. Seriously though - is this a previously unspotted Zed? And what is the body kit? Didn't get a good shot of the front but it has this like really flat Lip thing going on.... and it is really low Rich
  14. Guy (or girl?) actually lives less than 2 miles from me. I have seen the car on Tescos car park in the past and also on the road. I was taking a short cut through an estate when I spotted it parked up. Shame they were not in as I would have asked if I could get some pics of the two cars together, black & white. FunkySi you look all wide eyed with excitement there mate. Have I found a non-forum Zed? Rich
  15. I have seen this around stoke occasionally. Yesterday I drove right past their house so decided to knock and introduce myself but they were not in. Is this someone on here? Rich
  16. Here's an interesting question then: I wonder if anyone knows the answer? Have you ever noticed on the fuel pump it always says 'minimum delivery 2 litres' regardless of where you buy your petrol. If you haven't then you never opened your eyes at the petrol station :1eye: So then.... why do you think the petrol station don't want to sell you £2 worth of fuel? Rich
  17. No actually it was meant as a bit of fun to be honest :1eye:
  18. Actually after posting I did come to think about it - with some of these modern cars she quite possibly gets as far on a fiver as I do on a tank lol
  19. A woman driving a 14 plate car putting £5 of fuel in before going to pay at the kiosk. Which to me begs the question - why oh why oh why, if you can only afford to put a fiver in, would you be driving a new car in the first place? No doubt the car is on finance as well - one wonders if that is a struggle too? Doesn't it make far more sense to run an older car and be able to afford to fill it up???? Or is it just my strange mind that works that way? Rich
  20. Well you certainly don't get if you don't ask.......
  21. OK Dave then I apologise once more. The number ending 2266 must be some one else from TOTB / Straightliners Do I need to contact straightliners myself now or have you passed the info on to them? As I mentioned before and in email I wasn't after a refund as such - a credit against another event would be fine if that is possible Rich
  22. Oh PS I contacted Dave Naxton as I was advised to do this by other members both on this thread and in person.
  23. Hi there Dave. Maybe there is a misunderstanding then, so to clarify: I can confirm I have an email reply from you yesterday to the email that I sent Saturday. This one says to contact Straightliners HQ. I do not have a reply to the email I sent to the same address (dnpvaleting) on Friday 25th, though both are showing in my sent items and were both sent from the same address. Also I do not have an 'undelivered notification' My original contact was on Weds 23rd by filling in the contact us form on the TOTB website - I assumed this would go to you however and if I am incorrect then I apologise. However I received no reply whatsoever to that message, whoever it does go to ignored me. I was phoned on Saturday 26th from a mobile ending 2266. I missed that call - however I txt back the same evening at 8:04pm 'Hi I missed your call. Is it urgent? Rich.' Received at 21:06 same evening 'It was about what your car wqas and what team your in for TOTB' Replied the next morning 'Hi is that Dave Naxton? I emailed you twice last week to explain the piston rings failed on my 300zx when it was being remapped and I would be unable to attend and asked how we could resolve this. I had no reply yet. Rich' If this is not your mobile number, once more I apologise. But it is still the fact that whoever made that call/text to me has not responded since. I don't feel you are being 'hung drawn and quartered' as you say, it is true and fair to say I had no response to my queries until my last email Rich
