Gapping piston rings is quit an easy job .. just very time consuming as u have to check it at least 6+ times on each ring to get the right size gap as for keeping the ends square u only do one side and u have the other to compare against to keep it straight and the dremmel will do the job just fine thats what i used .. with a Fine grinding disc end just take your time ...

bit of a mess .. but then again you will not need to touch the gear box and other items .. or take the engine out .. so then there is no need to use an engine crane and take all your front end off to do so .. so when u look at it that way .. in time Prob will be a little less but really its going to be easier

yes it normally is engine out job .. to the post i seen is was Brake servo/Master cylinder off all upper boost pipes Battery and i think few other items as well only then was it possible to see tub and get to bolts

ok u need to tell us a little more info before you think of bad things what age is the car what mileage has it done is it Twin turbo or None when was it last serviced what checks did u do before trip home how was the car used before you got it

Ian .. its just how i said it would be .. Get your self a Momentum switch .. the rest of the stuff is on the circuit board solder on the 2 points and away u go .. the ECU will see a Direct 5v bypassing the Vir switch and activate the L-C

yes thats right ... on the passenger side throttle body it feeds the water to the turbo the pipe if its still there kind drops down a little and runs along level with the cam cover
