  4. i use them on the front of my car no problems up to now .. regardless of Wheel Spacers or wheels with loads of Off set the Stress on the hub its self would be the same long as your not going stupid with the spacers like 60mm + then there isnt a problem
  5. your RPM Per gear Ratio to Final Speed will be higher Due to the lower Final Ratio of the diff .. 5th Gear @ 70mph will be around 2800>3000rpm NA 5th Gear @ 70mph will be around 2400>2600rpm TT Over all per gear its around 200>300rpm
  6. thats right its only the Boost/turbo Safety Solenoid wires/plugs that are missing other than that it will work ..

  9. "so i'm thinking i might aswell put a few added extras while its in bits. so out of experience could someone tell me what i'd possibility get in the £500 range in parts and also the £1000 range if i do decide to go all out for the 450bhp target" to what i read above sound like what Parts you could get for your engine as its in bit to upgrade it .. isnt that what i posted about pistons/rods and stuff yes i did include about machining work but that wasnt stated that your engineer place was doing that anyways i only posted what i thought was reliveant to your Q ... ££££ was only going on your budget

  12. Top Gear USA S3E15 Minnesota Ice Driving Has a Z32 in it
  13. ok its a little complex as the Gap for Piston rings change from Top to 2nd plus on the bore size ... but here gos Will take a Typical 88mm Wiseco Piston they have some Gap recomended size and its all done in Thou Inch For Turbo applications its .0050 top Ring .0055 2nd Ring Now you have to Multi ply that by the bore Size in Inch 88mm = 3.46" x .0050 = .0173 or ( .4394mm ) This is your Top Piston Ring Gap 88mm = 3.46" x .0055 = .0190 or ( .4833mm ) This is your 2nd Piston Ring Gap the Oil Rings are Pre set size and do not need gapping Hope you kinda understand
  14. Had to get some New heads machined up due to an Incorrect Skimming Profile on one of them so just stripping new ones down so i can start to Port and Polish them Again :(
  15. if your car is going to be a tracker only then yes change them to polly bush .. but if your normal driving then stick with the rubber type not so harsh on the bumps as for godspeed .. its a Cheap brand some of there stuff is ok but not sure on the suspension parts S14 hubs can be made to fit but take a little machining if its steering rake your after then those hubs and modified rack
  16. in a effect yes you do loose Max speed per gear as its the final ratio your changing but u dont really notice it as its that minimal Per gear
  17. basically this is what u should have
  18. it takes around 15>20mph of the Overall top end speed .. so it works out at Max RPM>Speed is 165>170 Depending on rev limit 0>60 is about 1 sec quicker just makes the car feel like its got more power really Itmes u need Subframe Diff Diff half shafts Rear Half of Prop and Front Yoke of the front at the Least ... or complete drive shaft Lower arms Upper arms Tack rod arms Hubs & Bearing assembly
