  5. take it for a spin ... 20miles+ then see as its been sitting for years it could be down to oil on the rings and valve guides it should go once used

  17. you won it u bloody git .. i was bidding on it :(
  18. all TT Alternators are the same 90amp output ... NA's are around 70 but doesnt really matter to much check the Spec of the battery .. as size dont means its to small if it dont fit the tray Rev's are dropping is because your letting it when pulling away
  19. yeah u can buy the new trimms think there about 60quid
  20. its a Pain in the ass ... cutting it all out and the bloody trims are normally Hard and brittle
  21. your battery is 12v your alternator starts charging around 700>800rpm @ 14.3v now what u seeing is when you pull off that your dropping the rpm below the alternator threshold in turn not running the electrics at 14.3v but 12v from the battery so things like your lights and heater fan will will change a little as these are High Current draw on the system Ideally your battery needs to be around 70amp for Auto .. you could get away with small one but this will effect your Cranking time
  22. then really is should be spot on ... with kph and no converter
  23. any of the TT/NA Jap cars with mph Speedo face will need a Speed converter .. Or A Set of uk clocks/speedo unit i'm sure theres a little mod all so that can be done on the pcb on the back of the main unit ... instead of the converter
