  1. I didn't want to mention the Allegro that I had before the Renault  Saying that, it didn't even make it off the driveway lol so I wasn't seen driving it
  2. Depends why you bought the zed in the first place, if you were buying it for it's performance then ideally you'd go for the TT like I did but if you bought it to impress the laydees then it doesn't matter either way cos girls don't know the difference (sorry to any ladies on this forum  ) I suspect that some of the young people who have bought Zed's have got them for the latter. Tell you what, wish I had a zed when I was younger instead of that Renault 5 turbo!
  3. I feel an American holiday coming :hyper:
  4. By the time you've paid the 30% tax you may as well have not bothered! We need a contact in the states who can buy the stuff over there & then ship it over here as a gift or something.
  5. You might have a point, mine's only about 0.3 Metres long :(
  6. I'll say 1 thing, at least there's a lot less to go wrong on the NA 300z and it must be a lot easier to work on. I've heard that changing a turbo on the TT zed is an engine out job  & probably something that I'll be doing shortly after I fit that boost controller :D
  7. Very nice body on that!! Does anyone know what the make of the wing is on that Zed? cos it looks very cool.
  8. Check out http://www.jiperformance.co.uk/New_Folder/home/product.htm Half the links don't work but the Blitz, HKS & Apexi links do. They have some bargain boost controllers, especially the Blitz SBC ID-III for £350 inc VAT! That seems very cheap. Also the Apexi AVC-R is only £330. They're asking the same sort of prices on E-bay! Or is there a catch  Shaun
  9. I'll be up in Preston that weekend having a few :duffer: 's (beers that is, not duffers. Sorry Andy but you're not my type, lol) so I'll be there :hyper:
  10. Doh, :slap: that's what it stands for! :o Cheers Andy
  11. This place has proved to be the fountain of all knowledge on several occasions but can anyone help me out here? On the JWT chip that I've just bought, it has a 'T', 'A' and an 'F' circled. I guess the 'T' is for turbo charged, the 'A' is for auto but the 'F'? Is this reffering to the fuel you use? I've been on the JWT site & it looks like the 'F' or 'C' is reffered to as 'Reg', is this regular fuel? Assuming that I'm right, what do Fed & Cal mean in plain English if they are types of fuel? Cheers guys, Shaun :)
  12. Has anyone tried this stuff, is it as good as they say it is? I hope so cos my gearbox is pretty hopeless when it comes to doing fast gear changes. A quart=0.946L apparently.
  13. My 200sx had those mods (i.e. uprated boost, exhaust, filter) & there's no way it would keep up with my Zed. Perhaps some Zed's are quicker than others. Saying that, I had a 205GTI behind me one day & I left it behind but not by a huge amount, I was very surprised TBH. He must have had something special under the bonnet.
  14. Just ordered some too, saved a whopping 92p a bottle by being a forum member :hyper:  The carriage was free too which is pretty good.
  15. Come on, I don't believe that no one out there has their Zed in bits, lol
  16. I once drove my mates Lada cos my ride blew a gasket! Never quite got over that experience, very :o I owned an Allegro Vanden Plas for about a week & decided to swap it for an MOT on my Mini, lol. Think I stitched the guy up, I mean that Allegro was probably worth about 4 Pence
  17. Jeees, dare I ask how much that little lot will have cost?!! The guy has obviously got far too much money, lol
  18. Comiserations, but you should be proud of yourself, what you did that day probably made him happy, it's nice to feel that people care about you. I hope that when I'm old people will be there for me.
  19. I've just bought a powerflow exhaust system including back boxes & midsection, it's 2.5" in diameter. I was wondering what the diameter of the cat outlets are & if they will mate up with the new exhausts I've got  I don't really want to remove the exhaust until I know that the new pipes will fit as the car is my daily driver! Will I need to buy 2.5" de-cat pipes? Cheers, Shaun
  20. Naa, going grey tho, lol One time I had an ear infection, I went to see the doc. He shone a torch in my ear & apparently my eyes light up  very odd
  21. It took a while to click but I got there in the end, lol
  22. Thanks Kirbz & SWM1, your help is much appreciated  All I need now is for this *****x freezing weather to pass
  23. 30 seconds and really fookin would up, grrr :mac1:
  24. I would have thought that if u put a battery on the tongue then 95% of the current would flow throught the tongue, can't see how it could stop your heart  Saying that, it probably doesn't take much current to screw up the medulla oblongata (part of the brain that controls the heart etc). I used to try to open bottles with my teeth, pretty stupid really, could have snapped the buggers :o :slap:
  25. Sorry to hear about this, there's nothing worse than when your car is buggered up by other people :mac1: Most people probably think our cars cost a fortune and are afraid they'd have to sell their kidneys to pay for the damage, either that or lose their precious no claims discount!
