  1. not doing it
  2. well from the pics it deffo looks like its had a new oil pump too
  3. sounds normal, the ecu doesnt care what the 02s are reading until 2kRPM +
  4. i use it for porting heads and 2-stroke barrels
  5. get it sorted asap. if the car was running fine before, bypass it with 1meg resistor and a soldering iron. pobably the cheapest fix you can get for a Z. do a search for info this has been done to death
  6. as long as its dry itl be fine
  7. i wasnt referring to stock O2's
  8. ye i understand. is that because its batch fire injectors that work on apposing cylinders? if your running std ecu i see no point at all. just run with the O2s for diagnostics and tuning.
  9. so ur just gonna measure the exhaust temp of one bank?
  10. so you have to take the auto sump off to clean/change it? what kind of filter is it? is it just a wire strainer or is it paper ?
  11. where is the strainer located?
  12. just put the relays back in its not just temp related, it also comes on when A/C is on and speed is less than 10mph (or some speed) its not as simple as most cars, so dont let the temp sender throw u down the wrong route.
  13. try adjusting the boot catch ;) takes about 5 mins with a 10mm spanner might be that its lighter now and it takes more effort to close
  14. thanks a lot! ive found this link which should help me a wee bit. but if i could get actual settings then id be even closer and itl take less boosting about
  15. superb thanks, now i can tinker without chasing my tail when i get problems later. has anyone got any ball-park figures for the profec settings?
  16. ive just installed my Profec B II, before i go fiddling with the boost solenoids and the wastegate hose set up, can anyone tell me what stock boost is? ive changed the display to read psi instead of kPa and it seems to sit about 85, i take this to read 8.5 psi. is this about right?
  17. if theres a code 55 then you must not have a fault with the det sensor, or it would have logged a code. perhaps the det sensor was replaced but the short loom to it wasnt, a deffinate false ecconnomy! maybe the half meg resistor+a loose/bad connection was enough to simulate a det signal voltage and not a fault (OC/SC) code
  18. no it looks darker there like, but side by side they looked looked spot on even if its not 100% its close enought that i can re-do the bumper.
  19. my car used to be red, its been re-sprayed at some point and after sitting beside a blue Skyline at Trax im 99% sure its the same colour, does anyone know the paint code for it? or where i could find out? cheers Fraser
  20. what make and flowrate are the std TT injectors?
  21. get a few quotes online. its easier than me doing it
  22. mines either in O/D for launching, or Power. dont think ive ever used HOLD, it doesnt seem very exciting, i dont want to hold i want to GO!
