Car insurance beware
i was with carol nash 5 years ago with the white zed classic car policy first year i insured it cost me £245 when the renewal came through it was £498 i rang them and asked why the policy price had doubled and they could not give me a reason, i then moved car to admiral on a multicar policy with my daily car, they gave me 5 years no claims on the z and fully comp was £240 per year, this year however i had 7 years no claims on the z so when i insured the new one for 7 months on a uk car they wanted £154 for same on the j spec i bought £199 but when i tried to claim for the smashed rear 1/4 window they would not pay for a dealer part because the car was over 3 years old

My New Lights
saw these on ebay and noticed they do not have a reflector built into the lens but i'm sure no rear reflector is a mot failure (or at least it used to be)
-
it passed................
...................on the 2nd attempt :hyper::dance:took the z in for mot today considering i bought it with no mot it failed on a wiper blade and drivers side hand brake not working so quick dash home strip it down to find the handbrake had been previously stripped and put together wrong (the metal actuator bar was in wrong way round) rang the test centre who then had it straight back for retest, onlt prob i have is the rumble under the arse at 40mph think centre prop bearing is next job
-
ok it's official

mot question
got the zed going in for mot on monday now everything sorted my only worry is the rear lights the outer plastic is cracked in several places where the tailgate has been hitting it, there is no white light showing to the rear but is it a mot failiure with the outer plastic cracked?
