j spec headlight wiring
dunno because the original headlight connectors have 2 wires (live & earth) because of h3c lamps other thought i've just had maybe it was designed to fit a higher wattage h3c maybe
-
j spec headlight wiring
yes it works as normal as it uses the the standard headlight connector to feed the signal to the relay, as i posted above the relay is a fet but all the wiring is labeled same so it's a kit of some sort

ebay aftermarket radiators
to be fair a ebay one will cost you in region of £150 for a little more £165 i think now dan at dta can supply you one which uses a koyo core know which i spent my money on, not sure if he ordered more than just mine but i know mine is due in early next week so maybe worth giving dan a call zcentre and most places on web do not have stock of aftermarket rads as of last week and the 2 places in china that ebay sell had them but would you want to send a rad back to china if faulty?

j spec headlight wiring
hi all just a quick one on my j spec i noticed there is extra wiring on the headlights dip beam they have taken the headlight feed from the passenger side fed it to a fet relay which then goes through 2 fuses (one for each side) then to the headlamps anyone one got any idea why this is added/what it's for? noticed my mates jspec also had this added

i would try fixing drivers door lock first and test through key
-
2 things
the rod with the yellow bar is indeed the locking rod and should be connected to the back of the lock barrel these failing is quite common on the zed, you may find someone on here that has just the plastic part if you post and ask in items wanted as that part is only available from nissan as part of a complete lock barrel, when i asked about mine (i had same problem) mr.f (mjp) quoted me around £68 for complete drivers lock barrel

Any one recognise this?
i did have a bid on that one myself but a few questions i asked the owner seemend very vague to be fair i asked him if cam belt had been done for example and his reply was i think it was done at the last mot at 97,000 miles, but looks quite tidy but as said above check sills etc for rust my uk model suffered quite badly especially the rear of sills by seat belt mountings etc

bonding a fibreglass spoiler
i'm gonna be changing my stock rubber rear spoiler for a fibreglass replica stock spoiler in very near future just after some tips for bonding new spoiler in place, is it best to use the bonding glue close to the edges of the spoiler so to stop water getting underneath or as they did on the one i just bought 2nd hand halfway back on the top surface and sides? my only concern with that of course is water getting under spoiler and getting in through holes left, i also notice they never bonded rear edge is that correct? other one is do i need to rough up paint before applying bonding glue? and does spoiler need to be clamped whilst glue is setting bonding glue i've bought is called master seal, polyurethane sealing and bonding compound cheers guys

Any experienced painters to answer this question
fibreglass/plastic would be same
-
Wiring
yes you can use same earth points for guages, you can either take ignition live from back of barrel before the fuse (straight onto the terminal at the back) or you should have a ignition live feeding to the cd player

How is the spoiler attatched?
think when i did my last one i used some special glue remover as used by windscreen companies to remove glue and gunk off paintwork without damaging paint
