  1. very possible depending on date though, i can do 17th,24th definatly, 31st i may have to work the sunday afternoon
  2. if that fails why not fit a hid harness it that just adds a new live feed and a relay so your dip beams work off direct battery power (yes thats what those fet relays by the under bonnet fuse box are on some j spec models)
  3. yes you can buy drill attachments and mops which i used to do a plenum but killed 2 electric drills in the process i bought the bigger mops for a bench grinder just after far easier to do that way if you have a bench grinder (although machine mart do them cheap)
  4. take a look here bud http://www.polishing-kits.co.uk/ they give you tips on howto polish all types of metal plus you can buy the kits from them as well
  5. sounds like a specialist clear coat look on ebay there are several places that do custom paint including pearls/candy colours etc maybe worth contacting one of them to see if they can do what you need
  6. right here goes clear coat is called laquer it's all the same stuff but a few things you need to note you can buy clear coat from halfords or where ever in aersol cans these are however 1k clear coat (or cellulose laquer) this will look great when you apply it but after 12 months and it's been in the sun it will start to craze or have like a white bubbly feel to it so do not use that stuff what you need which is the same as already on the car is 2k laquer which you can buy on ebay look for the type that has a pouch of hardner in the can which you depress a button on the bottom of the can to release it this is the best stuff to use but you must use what you need within 12 hours after that its sets hard as a rock, also using 2k laquer make sure you have sufficient breathing equipment as the fumes are poisonous, the stuff i used also reccomended spraying it in at least 23 degrees outside temperarture, you can use it out side which would mean you would not need to much breathing equipment just dont get downwind from the fumes
  7. not sure if he put it in the post i'm sure he said he was a md of a company but dont hold me to that memory fooked at the mo
  8. ......think this guy is taking the rarity of a convertable a little to far price wise http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEXY-RARE-UNIQUE-Nissan-300ZX-SWB-TRUE-Convertible-/270644363707?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f03a941bb
  9. he posted up a couple of months back he has had to take on a day job at the moment as sales were down but the day job is his main priority and he did say to me a while ago it was taking up his evenings as well
  10. i may also be interested but agin date dependant as i'm taking the zed off the road for winter mid novemberish
  11. well it could be any of the 3 turbo coolant hoses or the heater matrix pipes but here is a tip if you have one hose gone, replace the turbo coolant pipes (water bypass) in silicone and also the heater matrix pipes because if it's anything like my zed when i bought it as soon as i replaced 1 pipe another would go, i ended up replacing every coolant pipe
  12. sounds to me like either the switched 12v supply you are using is not 'live' when ignition on or maybe relay wired incorrectly
  13. i would say at a guess the 'or' live is a ignition live and the 'rt' is a permanant live so if connected like that the relay should click when you turn on the ignition you would then need to test you have power coming out with a multi-meter
  14. if you run through a earth you would need to supply voltage to + side of the led so when switch is in the 'on' position and running to ground the led will light
  15. how could it spin faster than engine rpm? the idea of a vicose fan is it works by the engine temperature the hotter the shaft from the water pump gets the tighter the clutch grips the shaft thus bringing the fan into use once it's cooled it down enough then the fan releases then runs either slower or not at all till temp rises so it is possible that at higher revs the fan has done it's cooling then backed off but if the temperature rose back up it would cut back in
  16. wouldn't they be standard round fog lights ? do a web search there will prob be plenty of suppliers for these
  17. have you got ignition live & constant live reversed?
  18. it could be the vacuum tank for the clutch
  19. hate to state the obvious buddy but this is a 300zx z32 forum and does not cover z31 models
  20. think i've found the cause of this problem on mine the imjector connector on number 6 cylinder is coming loose, found it when it started popping and the intermitant misfire started just after, looks like new injector connectors next
