  2. i'm on multicar with admiral only bought my current zed last year so only on 1st full year insuring it costs me £420 fully comp mines a import though would of been £100 less for a uk model
  3. it's easier just to replace them pcv valves cost circa £10 each, it's a fidley job to get them out, and almost certainly the pipes will split (hence why it's circa £80 as mentioned by jeff) contact mr.f on here in the traders section he can give you prices on the parts
  4. it could be a little bit of pcv trouble had problems with mine changed the pcv's and had smoking for months after (i dont drive the zed much) so intially i thought the worst mine has now stopped smoking and running fine, just monitor it fella and as jefftt says pcvs are the first thing to change.
  5. think british gas were running a government subsidised scheme a few months back to get your cavity walls insulated for £99 not sure if you can still apply though
  6. had this on my last zed there is a duct for the heater that runs under the driver side dash to feed the drivers door vent, there is a sensor in that duct that if disconnected or failed will not let the heating switch to cold, baffled me for months on my old zed as duct had been removed from the car
  7. my zeds been parked up all weekend so def not me :scooter:

  13. cheers lee i dont think i'll be expanding any further to what i have now so 8awg should suffice
  14. ok here goes car audio to me is a right minefield (i do work in pa/dj equipment normally so understand ohm, power ratings etc) everyone quotes max powers on amplifiers but not sure when it comes to wiring kits........ i've just bought a custom sub off ebay for the zed and a amplifier the amplifier was rated at 350wx4 + 300w centre channel & 1000w sub so 2700w max when i did a little digging i actually found it was 50wx4 +70w + 120w so 390w rms (which is what i'm used to working in) which funnily would not match the max ratings quoted anyway wiring kit i'm looking at a 10awg kit which quotes upto 1000w would this be suitable?
  15. have you plugged the 02 sensor in the right plug?i remember on my old zed i think det sensor and 02 sensor were connected wrong way round and cause a few issues, also check electrical connectors on rear of plenum they could be loose/dirty causing problems
  16. bottom hose bracket i used the complete orginal battery drilled a extra hole in the rad end (opposite the hole already there) so a cable tie would pass through the bracket then just used ties to attach to the rad
  17. could be locking wheel nuts or fuel cap thats no longer on vehicle?
  18. most crows foot socket sets i've seen only go to roughly 22mm but they cost around £20 a set worth looking into as you would also need these if replacing 02 sensors
  19. i'm sure Mr.F could give you a price non brake light one is 26590-49P00 with brake light 26590-30P15
  20. he only does the without brakelight version now dave around 50ish plus vat

  22. had similar on my white zed and it was for operating some valves in the boost lines to increase boost but not sure if they had 3 wires, other thought could be something to do with your alarm maybe i know older units used to have a over ride switch on them
