not been on here in a long long time but i may pop along if things work out i may be back in a zed in the next week or so (not the white one although still have it)

i dont think i'm missing out on anything you obviously never read the other post saying my car is not on the road at the mo, but i think thats made my mind up i'm out of here thats another long standing member this club has just lost

thornbury is'nt exactly in gloucester area nor is it something everyone is interested in it's comments like these why i have not and will not renew my subscription here!!!

but this is a rolling road day i dont have my car back so i'm not attending anyway rolling road testing does not appeal to everyone

i'm sorry but i agree with allan on this all the meets this end have been organised by allan or myself for around the last 2-3 years and i for one am another one pissed off and not renewing because of this i've lost interest in this club totally we used to have meets this end and we had some good meets but everything is moving south and as i have said before i have a heavy workload at the mo and do not have time to travel, not even to bristol, the last official 300zx meet locally to us was frombridge mill other meets this end were ross on wye 05 organised by allan and myself ross on wye 06 organised by me and the two halfords ones jan 06 & jan 07 organised by allan plus the recent local friday night ones organised by allan which again i could not attend down to work

i live in the sticks nearest motorway to me is 45 mins away

no gloucester is southwest geographically and is south west as far as just beyond tewkesbury

split it in 2 put a divide around taunton bearing in mind south west extends to as far as tewkesbury taunton for me is around 2.5 hours plymouth is 4 this would be more for the chelt/ tewkesbury mob

some of us do not have time to travel to taunton or exeter for meets that would mean me travelling 2 1/2 roughly each way with my current workload i dont have time and as for not attending castle comb japfest is a saturday i work till 3am sat morning and start again 6pm sat night does not exactly give me much time does it

and i'll just add when marcus and then legrath was looking after this area we had regular club meets 2 or 3 times a year up this end one of them being fromebridge mill, which is 2 mins of the m5 back then when something was done this end i did not mind travelling to bristol or weston, but when the only local meets are arranged by people this end why should we put in the effort to travel to bristol and beyond

perhaps if meets were arranged for this area as promised instead of doing our own they would be better supported i would of attended if it was a sunday not a friday for example

it not we dont want to drive to them we used to have more meets in gloucester or closer but in the last 12 month nothing in this area, dave and marcus will tell you i used to drive to the more southerly meets if i was not working, i never used to mind as we had something regular this way, but so far all we have had in last 2 years is jan 2006 gloucester, aug 2006 ross on wye, jan 2007 gloucester, and the gloucester meet just passed,all arranged by myself or allan!! i currently do not have time to drive more than a hour to attend a meet as i am very busy with work commitments so i think your comment is unjust, especially when we were told we would have a meet in gloucester every 3rd month or there abouts and to get one allan had to arrange it himself,now bearing in mind south west goes up as far as tewksberry,winchcombe,forest of dean,etc it is a very large area i think personally it should be split weston super mare ish so there is a top and bottom half so to speak,i dont mind travelling to bristol/weston if i do not have work and have time to do it but that is my limit to how far i would travel.
