my god just saw this as i dont come on very often these days get well soon big fella if theres anything i can do just yell

well i had no noclaims on the z as it was on a classic policy but they give you a big discount as you have no claims on other cars they gave me 4 yrs autmatically so the z will prob be down to £220 ish a year once it gets full ncb

got a result this morn just put the z and the merc on a multicar policy with admiral and got a combined price of £457 per year fully comp on both

just had my insurance renewal through from carole nash, they were insuring me with chaucer classic insurance which was £245 per year, just had my renewal the z is no longer covered by chaucer classic and they have just hit me with a quote for £495 heard of inflation but that ridiculous looks like the z and the merc on a multi car policy now

not me not got a zed at the mo and prob wont have till next year

well it looks like i might be selling up and getting out of the zed game so to speak, just not sure which way to go just yet as my car at the mo is kind of stripped for a respray so i dont know weather to finish it off and sell or break it. i've just lost faith in the whole zed scene with whats been going on here lately, and on top of that the problems i've been having getting my car sorted, the guy working on it (who's a mate) has had a bad year fooked his back up, then last week had a heart attack so my car wont even be touched now till after xmas,so with all that i've just lost interest in the whole zed thing i'll post up with what i decide to do weather break or sell, i wont say keep it as a option cause at the moment thats not looking like a option.

chip and boost jets speak to john dixon always a good place to start

depends who is selling them i bought a chrisc chip off ebay very good chip imho but speak to john dixon he can sort you out with a chip as well i've read it on here many times before do not use bleed valves to increase boost as u cannot match them exactly causing boost probs use either boost jets (welding tips basically) or a boost controller but you need to get the chip sorted before you fit either type of boost enhancer

boost is around 10psi stock

uk clocks run in psi jap in something else not sure what though

check the clips etc are all tight on all the front pipes could be you have a leak there somewhere you could also have a problem somewhere else totally unrelated causing the car to safty boost, although as a extra measure disconnect your battery for a hour so the ecu can reset itself then try the car again

my car is on a 2 poster ramp at the mo and the pad on the ramp are under the sill jacking points, if you look just behind the front wings and just in front of the rear wheels you'll see the sill bottom is thicker there for jacking

the vacuum pipes is the feed to the passenger side recirc valve in the fron of the radiator

just a quick question about my z, i went to fit decat pipes and new centre section exhaust on my uk t/t only to find the front pipes look pretty stock as they have aiv pipes into them, but no cats, i thought they had been cut out and a new pipe welded in place from looking under the car but it's one tube on my current pipes.they look like mild steel pipes as there is evidence of rusting across the seam. question is did a uk spec series 1 have cats orginally? or has my car had custom front pipes made possibly? thanks for any help in advance
