  2. Yep! But he is a registered user and cant sell on here, so better to contact him thru Ebay:thumbup1:
  3. Top advice. Surpisingly many self employed people fail at all these points. they get a "cheap" non qualified "bookkeeper" they promise everything to everyone for fear of missing out on a job And totally fail to manage client expectations,
  4. But wot do you do with the potatoes??????
  5. ....:nono::nono: Yep! Or a little darker:yes: Doing it by hand is tedious. With the correct power tools and accessories its not a bad job at all.
  6. Yep! +1. Has it fubared them leather seats then??
  7. The speedo cluster!! Saw it earlier
  8. Looks like a Tommy Kaira one... or a replica?????
  9. Oh??? my latest purchase might have that?? any pics???
  10. I thought ALL Micras were in scrapyards:x:
  11. Rolling the arches is invisible from the outside if done properly. Cos its the return lip that is rolled. Both my car and Bobgenies slicktop have rolled arches. Check out some pics.. Ive posted more than a few!!
  12. Well there arnt cos most of it comes from the USA so whoever brings it in has to pay shipping vat etc. And it seems like Nissan worldwide had different pricing structures for different world markets. So Nissan dealers in the UK pay Nissan more for parts than Nissan dealers in the USA. Which is totally infuriating if like me you live in the UK:glare: And Yeh I was brought up in a direct tell it like it is world so I dont beat about any bushes:blink:
  13. There are no goood cheap UK sources for anything 300ZX related...............................IMO!!! Runs for cover!!!
  14. Have you got penetration thru to the underside?? If so it will be Ok although some very light trimming with a flap wheel is needed as some of your weld is still a bit proud. Then smooth over with seam sealer.
  15. You should have had that done at the alignment centre cos if you alter the ride height now it will change the camber and the toe in, thereby defeating the object of the exercise.
  16. It took me 6 years to get Yaseens damaged slicktoop back on the road. I did however get distracted by restoring /modding sevdral other cars and a couple of houses:laugh:
  17. Satin black one coat rattle tins are a cheap and cheerful way of painting. But......................... The paint is thinned to hell. You need a million coats.. Its one pack not two pack so it will be softer and damage easy. One pack laquer in rattle tin is the same. Thin and poor resistance to damage In the world of paint you get what you pay for. IMHO.
  18. Loaded and on its way this morning with Bob. I hope you have enjoyed the thread and thanks to those of you who have posted comments. Now where is that 240z rally car I need to finish???? .....................................
  19. So here is the finished article ..as far as my work is concerned............................
  20. Thanks Paul for the kind words. Pics will be up tomorrow Will look during the week to see if I have it.
  21. They are 100% rigid. You are pinned in them. So total support. They are comfortable for Bob n me. Im keen to get out on track in them. The Recaros we had before were fabulous seats but ultimately lacked enough lateral support. I had to use my legs in some corners to remain in place. Thats not what you want on track. But bear in mind these are trackday seats...............forget about using them on the road. Pop down on Sat if you like. Last chance.. its going home with Bob on Sunday.
  22. Roof scoop. Fitting....................................... I will let the pictures do the talking. Preparation. Care. Measure twice. cut once. Job done Phew!! Pics.............................
  23. Nothing so chavvy. Its Bob's initials. R = Robert etc etc But it can read go rapid if you want:biggrin: Anyway look out for todays pics... very soon. roof scoop is fitted........................................................................................... In the right place:yes: I still have all my fingers:yes: Nothing set on fire of damaged inside the car:glare:
