18inch wheels will they slow me down?
WHOAH!!! Three very important pieces of info missing from this guys advert. 1. WIDTH of rim?? 2. Size and profile of tyre 3 .the OFFSET on the wheel You need to check all 3 out FIRST BEFORE YOU BID. And what condition/ make tyres. It says "all weather". That usually means nasty hard Jap import tyres that are no f***k*n good to anyone. Also are they chrome/painted. If chrome then repair is virtually impossible cos it cant be touched in. I would be very wary of this whole set up. And cant you find a better loookin wheel??? :x:

madmarco had a bad day
Its fixable. I had this one done. And bear in mind the door opening was two inches shorter than the door when he started it on the jig. Its just a case of finding the right man for the job and saving costs by stripping it all down yourself and sourcing the parts like I did.

madmarco had a bad day
Absolutly gutted for ya mate. Such a tidy little SWB too. As already said tho... no personal injuries. Just a little dented ego which will soon fix.

itchy skin
It is not shingles. Even in relatively young people it is an extremely painful condition. And it doesnt occur all over either. scabies is a remote possibility and diagnosis can be difficult but normally only occurs in situations where you are in close contact with existing cases First step is to purchase some Cetirizine from a local pharmacy, Im too far away. LOL! Normally about £3.99 for 30. Just one a day or you could go up to one twice daily. also you need to purchase a 500G pot of aqueous cream.Around £1.99. Use this all over as a moisturizer and use some in the shower instead of shower gel. Or even better some Oilatum emollient(but a bit more expensive) Try this regime for a week to see if any improvement. im suspicious that the answer may lie in your work environment ... lofts, insulation dust etc. but difficult to say more without a fuller consultation. ;) HTH

rear 1/4 window removal
The rear quarter windows are the most difficult of all the 300Zx glass to remove. Even tho they are the smallest. The usual tools are required. long thin stanley knife type blades and "windscreen -removal" cutting wire as used by Autoglass and similar windscreen companies. etc. The worst part is down the B pillar, the black bonding agent is about an inch wide here. my success rate to date is 3 out of 4. As always the most important rule is NEVER PRISE or PRY. You must cut thru ALL the bonding agent. The glass then (literally) falls out. Dont drop it!!!! :nelson:

Indeed. Just goes to show there are still honest and decent people out there. :D

2nd hand afm/maf
if you dont know the seller then you dont know its OK and you also dont know if he will refund your money if it is defective. I have one for sale. Its not £60 tho. But its guaranteed to work 100% or I will refund all your money. My reputation on here as a supplier of chrome and polished parts would be damaged if I were to do otherwise. Pm me to discuss if you are interested.

need some ebay advice
There is one very simple rule for ebay auctions. Just bid what YOU want to pay for the item. go strait in with that price. the automatic bidding will only take what it needs from your bid up to your maximum. So for an item starting at ..... say £99. If you are prepared to buy the item for .... say £200 then place a bid for £200 and walk away. If nobody else bids at all then you win it at £99. If someone else bids anything up to £200 then you still win. If someone else bids MORE than £200 then you dont get the item. But thats OK cos you didnt want to pay any more for it anyway. Thats it really. Dont bother with any advanced stuff etc . The basic rule which is never broken is ..."the highest bidder wins". If you enter the maximum bid you are prepared to pay strait away then you dont need to look again till after its all finished. When you look after its finished there are only two possibilities. 1. You have won at a price you were happy with, or even a bargain price on occasion. :nana2: 2. You have not won the item cos some other silly sod paid more than it was worth for it.

anyone heard of these ???
You have PM

anyone heard of these ???
£600 + £125 = £725. add 10% duty...£72.50... £800 approx. Add 17.5% vat to total... £940. Consider the possibility of a UK levied "handling charge" on top of the above also.

Some none biased advice please
And I suspect that part of that reasoning came from the Sales and Marketing department who wanted to promote the more luxurious/expensive versions of the car, in a similar way to Volvo when they chose the Turbo Estate to go racing in. :D

Some none biased advice please
And I do too. having driven the black 2+2 NA most of this year I now have experience of both. I know which I prefer. ;) But I wont start another war about it. :nono: Come up and have a drive in mine. Make up yer own mind. :D

New Z!
Well done Leigh. I was looking at that myself... Wot a bargain. I hope it is only something simple like a coil pack but if a compression test reveals further woes then I have a sound late low mileage NA engine surplus to requirements now. I was going to use it to repair my black 2+2 NA but I have decided to scrap it instead. Engine was removed in perfect order from a 94 car.

Any heard of or had experience with this company
Well that IS a good idea. Its only by physically looking at a range of cars that you gain the experience to spot a bargain when you see one ;) I think everyone on the forum is fed up with looking at pics of my new mota.... but one more wont hurt

Any heard of or had experience with this company
look at the thread in General Discussion on my newly acquired 95 Version S Slicktop. At the risk of repeating myself... The Version S was a very minor revision.. deeper sports type seats and different rear spoiler basically. As far as I can tell. The Version S Recaro had the Recaros added and the BBS wheels. This was then succeeded in 1997 by the similarly named and spec'd Version R 2 bye 2. Its not for me to decide what is overpriced and what the "correct" price of 300s but I can disclose here that I paid £2000 (+ £100 road fund licence) for my 1995 version S Slicktop. :nana2:
