  1. That really depends on what turbo it is, few hundred each side for a journal bearing turbo. If it's a BB style turbo I'm afraid most of the time that's a new CHRA which is more expensive. Sorry.
  2. Now opening registration for members for this even. So please add yourself to the list: 1. Stephen
  3. Having a pair of rebuilt stock turbos I wouldn't bother next time. Much better options for similar price or a bit more.
  4. Are you rebuilding stock turbos? Unless you find a very cheap price I'm not convinced it's worth the bother.
  5. This is the case for Euro/UK and US spec cars, JDM cars had a square set up even on the TT. I believe there was a reason for this, something to do with Japanese law... something to do with tyre profiles I think. JDM twin turbos didn't have all the same stuff as UK etc which were a higher spec.
  6. Just trying to make my mind up wether to pull the trigger on 15 or 20mm spacers for the rear, I needed a minimum of 10 for the fitment I wanted and the clear the brakes, however I currently have a camber of 0 believe. Think the 20s would require a slight flare as my arches are already rolled. I had the alignment done a spring or two back but didn't correct the Caster as they couldn't do it and it turns out they set it up as a Z31 :taz:
  7. Cheers for clarifying, il make sure to keep an eye out on my next walk. :lol:
  8. If I step in dog shit does that "personalise" my shoe?
  9. Have they been warned how particular you are?
  10. Well blow me down with a feather, I actually had to scrape ice off the window this morning.
  11. I can't remember, you do it the engine running anyway so you will hear. You can turn it quite a bit before it goes mad.
  12. Seems good and easy... just what I need more stuff. :lol:
  13. This makes perfect sense. - - - Updated - - - Maybe I need to learn the plastic weld...research time :detective::detective:
  14. I'd love to join in but I'm well behind, cars still in the air.
  15. Unless you've checked recently I almost guarantee you will have a small leak somewhere.
  16. Maybe up north, down here it's still pretty mild. Been local (by my standards anyway) today. Bit of cold wind but you've got to be used to a breeze by the sea. Perfectly comfortable in a tshirt today and needed sunglasses on the way home from work.
  17. You need to warm it up first then unplug the connection and set it to iirc 600rpm, upon replugging it will pop up to 750rpm. You should check the throttle position sensor, timing and for boost leaks first. Mine sits about 850/900rpm, but I know my base timing is wrong for idle as such due to the neutral switch buisness with the conversion.
  18. I've been thinking recently about the proportions of the swb bumper in comparison. Nissan for some reason added a few inches to the bumper itself creating a fatter ass. To me the SWB rear bumper has a much more appealing effect profile. It appears that Twinz rear bumpers have the swb style to them. So has anyone and how would you even start, grafted a swb bumper to a lwb. For those who don't know what I'm on about; And the Twinz on a 2+2;
  19. Glad this cars getting the attention it deserves.
  20. This is part of why I believe Corbyn will win, people have short memories and as such we boom and bust and as we go we flit between tight fisted Conservatives and overspending Labour.
  21. Thing is Great Britain isn't about how good it is, it's about what it encompasses it should really be called Greater Britain. As far as it not being as good as it was, certainly in recent years not much has changed. Recent media reports that it had dropped to 6th in the economic tables was a bit of a untruth. Certainly by the criteria used it's still 5th. The world bank however rates us as 9th. Furthermore real movements are predicted over the next 2-5 years that will see smaller Economies growing economies over take (not just the U.K.) not one of them is in the EU... it's certainly in a better position than most EU countries, most are still in recession. As for the United Kingdom, we really will have to see how that plays out. I'm not as clued up on Scottish independence as I could be. However from what I understand. Support for Scottish independence and inclusion in the EU is far lower than what the SNP claims and relations with the EU will be complex to say the least, expect strong opposition from the Spanish. Didn't the SNP fail to gain the required number of signatures and had to get support from the Greens, something in the back of my mind says there's suggestion that the second indie ref doesn't even forfill the criteria they set out cause of said signatures. With Scotland as an independent state it would have a smaller GDP and higher debt than Greece (which is still suffering), in fact recent suggestions were that scotlands debt accounts for 2/3rds of Britians debt as a whole and is the largest in the EU. With this in mind Miss Sturgoen is literally going to have to bend over and take it right up the shitter from Jean Claude to get even close to what she wants. At which point she will have to start explaining the other problems she's got that she's hiding behind independence for. Truth is we all have just got to wait and be prepared to get noisey when our employees (the government) step out of line. Most of what doing the rounds is posturing and hot air from both sides desperately trying to save their own skins. They say Brexit is turkey day and the Turkeys do not want to vote for Christmas. It's more than that it's a five bird roast and they're all trying to not be in the stack. Interesting times indeed. Still think Jeremy Corbyn will be the next PM though.
