  1. My bonnet did this, was gutted. Still got to sort that out long term.
  2. Have to get some cut off valves, allowing you to open pure unsullied V8 roar whilst being able to quieten it down for the neighbors. There's a guy round here with a RAM you can hear it from a few roads away. :D
  3. I listen to 4 most of the time tbf, it's much more suited for the hours and hours I spend driving. It's like earwigging, just paying attention to the bits that are interesting and tuning out on the blah but the noise is there. I often catch the afternoon drama, which can go either way but passes the time.
  4. Agreed but I haven't got DAB in the van.
  5. What the hell is going on with pop music at present?! I only get normal Radio in the van and I can't abide adverts, so occasionally il listen to Radio1. Yesterday's offering particularly, shockingly shit. The other week Ed Sherann held 18 of the top 20, 18! Now I don't mind old eddy but that can't be right. Then there's the quality, it's been poor for a while but Katy Perry's latest "banger" (supposedly politically based) is so lack lustre and lyrically devoid its like it was written by a 12 year old. I'm seriously surprised it didn't end "and then we woke up". Even supposed indie artist Lorde's new offering feels like the lyrics and the music were written in two separate hotels then squeezed together in a that will do fashion. All of a sudden they're all from the West Indies, even if they are actually from Texas or Hertfordshire or even Essex. Rant over :taz:
  6. Ummm...think someone needs to pull out the little book from oxford and see what the definition is; http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-FAIRLADY-TARGA-/122427858025?hash=item1c8144dc69%3Ag%3A98sAAOSwmgJY4QBL&_trkparms=pageci%253A2cfcf07c-1bc9-11e7-8863-74dbd1805f6a%257Cparentrq%253A49e8e52215b0a6a8d0d18164fffec609%257Ciid%253A5
  7. Ooo that's the weird VG engined 300zx. Got a early version of the vg30de in it I think instead of a vg30e. There's a 200zr as well I think with a SR? Just looked it up, it's an RB20.
  8. Glad your happy with your choices and your right, do it properly the first time. I've got a few things I'd like to have done differently or redo due to budjey and time constraints.
  9. Do you have a wiring diagram and the ABS pinout? I take it the terminal blocks are till you sort out the configuration?
  10. Good to see it sideways
  11. Is it bad all I'm seeing is ££££s  doing a good job there bud.
  12. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-25-bolt-stainless-steel-downpipes-p-2958.html
  13. Yeah one of those is wrong. In pic three the bottom one is a Z32 one for stock turbos the one above, Christ knows what that's from.
  14. They aren't symmetrical btw, obviously they are handed but the turbos themselves are offset. The passenger side Turbo sits further towards the wing and the drivers side further towards the engine, this is to do with the way the turbos are adapted to fit the car known as clocking. What I'm saying is when they arrive don't be surprised to see they look unmatched. They definitely must be both four bolt though, stock turbos are four bolt exhaust housings. Larger aftermarket ones are often 5. I don't think anyone has a six bolt one on a Z as those are on even larger turbos.
  15. Should both be four bolt buddy.
  16. What sort of price do S/H units go for?
  17. That's good to know. How effective is the system?
  18. Might be worth checking, some insurance companies will invalidate your insurance because of that Turbo timer.
  19. Well the heads are aluminium so leave them alone. The block you can't see anyway so pink would do the job...in seriousness go for a lighter colour, not black. That way any if oil leaks appear you can see and trace them so much easier.
  20. Ah right, I did read that name off the Dyno sheet but didn't realise they actually mapped cars as well. Do you know if they have ever mapped a Z32 out of interest?
  21. Good buy Dean, really smart cars with brilliant engines. If zed values continue to rise and I can get sorta 5-6k for mine then there's the real possibility I may purchase the earlier shape one. I couldn't spring to that shape for a toy and the Mrs wouldn't be too happy it being the family car, the visits to the petrol station would activate the moan sensors.
  22. What's that...106mph average? Which is Mean average, not accounting for a traffic light or speed camera or lets face it in a van full of parcels a corner  the Median average would have to be considerably higher, 125/130mph, in that same van full of parcels... some creative time keeping skills there I recon.
  23. Alright vorderman
