  1. This. The things probably invalidating your insurance anyway.
  2. I thought that would be case. Couldn't see you going black after recent returns to OEM. She's looking good mate.
  3. Is your moustache black Si or the stock graphite colour?
  4. Tragic set of events by these nonces. Thankfully our security services are working bloody hard and manage to stop the vast majority of these type of events. 13 plots of terror have been foiled in recent times.
  5. How much material did you use doing the wrap mate?
  6. Here's my cellulose fail; https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?184662-Paint-Where-did-I-go-wrong/page2&highlight=Paint+reaction
  7. I know, have a Google though. More than one person has died from exposure to it. It's bloody dangerous stuff. Air fed masks and extraction is apparently mandatory for use. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/2k-safety-leason-learnt.14051/ Although the HSE.gov makes no mention of death it does state about asthma and dermatitis due to repeated exposure. Regardless filling your garage or the neighbourhood with its gas appears a bad idea. What safety procautions would you consider appropriate in your experience?
  8. Should be able to, I've used a bit of leverage in the past to get that extra 1 or 2mm.
  9. Get the bolt as far out as you can, them pull/push the tension rod bush about. The bolt will then clear the pipe and your home free. Yes it's a pain in the ass.
  10. Got get enough together to warrant it that's all Richard. Not too far away now.
  11. Highly topical for me this too. I've got some imperfections that need correction and one of them is the direct result of cellulose going wrong. I haven't found a decent solution at present, I'm not going to lie the whole 2k thing sounds horrendous. Stories of death and wiping the garden of plants, doesn't sound appealing.
  12. OEM Nissan units?
  13. Winner. Have you decided where your getting the piston rings from?
  14. Kinda hankering over an early 2000s E55 at present myself.
  15. That's good then. Didn't know if you were using the original block or another one or what, plus the fact you never know what's been done.
  16. I think there are genuine ones, as apposed to cars with half a yaucht grafted to it.
  17. It may not even be the sensor itself. The fault, code 34 is "knock sensor circuit" not Knock sensor. You cannot simply remove it or short it, a broken or shorted wire will still throw code 34. In my case the loom itself was damaged. You can make a sub harness with an old knock sensor plug and solder in a 1mega ohm resistor tricking the ECU into seeing a functional if hyperthetical sensor. In any event it's functionality is limited, puts you into safety boost. At idle and off boost your not going to notice, it certainly isn't a limp mode. I think you can safely pop that one to one side for the immediate moment. Do you have consult or equivalent?
  18. Why don't you spend a day cutting back the bad paint and get yourself a roll of Vinyl. It will look great for a few paces and it won't cost much. Gets you going and feeling positive. The mechanics is probably not that bad in reality.
  19. I found I was locking up at the front far too easily, hence why I'm now switching the rear brakes to a more balance ratio. Changing my BMC also seemed to help.
  20. The Andrews have really grown on me. I'm starting to lust over something period like that for mine.
  21. Well that's promising, just have to see if it returns now.
  22. Makes sense really as Joel says. It's a shame TT.net is an awful site to use.
