That's it yeah, the difference between stock rears and the brembo rears from a GTR is pretty minimal. No need to switch to the brembo rears with the R33 gtr or Z33 fronts to retain bias.

Yup the mounting bolts are thicker. The threaded portion is on the caliper. Join 350z-uk and speak to Zmalex I think his name is (he's a breaker) sort you out no doubt.

The one I've used everyday for work for the last four years, it's reasonably priced and seems well made. No complaints about it, not just some old tat. The Philex 83001R. Pick them up on clearance for about a £10, they are about £20 in the shops. Even sell them in Argos :lol:

If your that worried buy 4 drill bits and go up in 0.5mm steps. With the savings you could pay someone else to fit the damn things and still becquids in.

Mate, just get it home. Doesn't matter much after that does it. If it's a simple a split hose, which it really could be you can sort that. Enjoy what's left of your holiday and deal with this inconvenience later.

They do sell the proper loctite stuff in Halfords, if that helps.

This is why I said ages ago to not bother looking for Skyline GTR ones and get some off a 350z instead. Markedly cheaper, easier to find and newer. The same applies to the discs too. Skyline tax. The rears off a skyline whilst they are brembo are damn close to stock z32 rears anyway (z ones 2x 38mm Pistons with 297 diameter discs and skyline gtr 2x40mm Pistons and 300mm discs), non GTR models are the same calipers more or less, which is why I was able to sell my rears to a S Chassis owner for £200. Get yourself a set of Z33 Brembos lee, refurb your stock rears and that's that. The Z33 Brembos probably won't even need rebuilding.

A common mistake, in respect of open and closed circuits. In fairness most people have no idea how to use a multimeter at all. Typically a multimeter set on ohms will show 0 for a closed circuit with no resistance, a display of 1. (Note the gap, the 1 is on the left.) is an indication of an open circuit, i.e. Infinite resistance, it may also indicate that resistance is higher than the setting you have and you may require a higher decimal.

Have you not tested the resistance of the suspect injector yet?

Right, they probably are what they are supposed to be. Only way your going to know is offer them up. Even if the hole centres match you need to see the disc offset is correct, iirc z33 vs R33 there's a 5mm offset difference in the disc.
