  1. Happy Mother's Day Billy.
  2. That's up to you really.
  3. Indeed, I was pretty happy with the stock brakes in good condition for road use. I would of stuck with them if I didn't have further ambitions. Brake fade is as scarey as it is inconvenient  There seems to be a misunderstanding that big brakes equals shorter stopping distances, this isn't necessarily the case or even really the right aim.
  4. 350z front set up and rebuilt stock rears. More than adequate and unlike the very similar (arguably the same) skyline version, they are available and fairly priced. Anything bigger than that and you risk upsetting the bias and just locking up faster. It's all well and good having huge front brakes but you need balance and the grip to use the stopping power, healthy stock brakes can lock the front easy enough.
  5. Ah that little sucker. That's one of my next little jobs. I can't correct my caster because of that nob ATM. You can trim a lot of it off.
  6. Where is it rubbing Joel?
  7. Glad a good day was had, again apologies for not actually being there.
  8. I did think that was the case. I only saw your roof but I'm pretty confident the other was Chris' car.
  9. It wasn't Andrews. Was on stock wheels with a few mods, side skirts etc.
  10. Did you read the link I posted?
  11. Saw a few of you heading down, two red ones in the 50 limit on the M3 by fleet about 6.50am and a blue on at Cobham at 7.
  12. If any of you get flashed by a van going the opposite direction it's me. Gotta be in Cobham then Enfeild tomorrow morning.
  13. What's wrong with yours?.
  14. Nice one polio.
  15. From what I understand you'd be better porting the heads first. You can purchase oversized valves from the US. Have a read of this, it may help; https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?181898-Oversize-Valves-options-and-opinions
  16. Sorry for the late reply. I'm having this question a fair bit via PM and other forums. Please accept my cut and paste response for time reasons rather than rudeness. As you can appreciate we're getting close to our 50 car allocation. What will happen if 55 turn up? Well every year people suddenly appear so it's not something we can control. However when this occurs we cannot guarantee there will be space on the stand and worst case (as far as I know) will see you parked elsewhere in the show ground. I'd say it's unlikely you'd be asked to park in the public car park, it's simply not my that kind of show, people turn up as individuals as well as groups. The moral of the story is to get signed up earlier. Few days away now so not much to change or add any big issues please PM myself or BigH And have a great day. Sorry I can't be there.
  17. Mine looks just like that right now.
  18. Welcome back. :thumbup1:
  19. Plus they don't call it the main stealer for no reason...
  20. Straight from the horses mouth. "Club Arrivals Please use our Main Museum Entrance off the B3056 first thing. This entrance will be open from 8am for club arrivals - we will not be opening the entrance gate into the complex until 8am. Any early arrivals will be directed into one of our visitor car parks to wait until opening at 8am. Only Trade vehicles will be allowed access prior to 8am. This entrance will then operate as a club and general entrance from 9am. Please Note: The Attraction, including the museum does not open until 10am. Our additional Entrance off the B3054 will be signed as “Simply Japanese Additional Entrance” and will be open from 9am-11am only and operate as a club and general entrance. If you arrive at this entrance before 9am or after 11am you will be directed round to the main entrance as there is nowhere to wait here."
  21. Ah. Little tip. Drive up on block of wood, then use the front tow hook to get the car up. Insert stands. You can then put the jack on a block and it will give you a few extra inches. I've played the game if getting it high enough to pull the gear box out more than once  - - - Updated - - - Il look into it for you Ian. I did receive an email just the other day.
  22. You can't get it high enough?
  23. Good job that's only about an hours work then  chop chop.
  24. I believe the previous owner (who had the work dons) had it for 15 years.
  25. In the past I've known peoples cars in the past to be anything. One was a Pimera on the V5.
