  1. A common mistake, in respect of open and closed circuits. In fairness most people have no idea how to use a multimeter at all. Typically a multimeter set on ohms will show 0 for a closed circuit with no resistance, a display of 1. (Note the gap, the 1 is on the left.) is an indication of an open circuit, i.e. Infinite resistance, it may also indicate that resistance is higher than the setting you have and you may require a higher decimal.
  2. Have you not tested the resistance of the suspect injector yet?
  3. Ah I see. I saw the picture of the 255 and was like, um yes...lol
  4. Whoops. Blow out or a flat that you didn't notice till it was too late?
  5. Good little video that.
  6. 400 is achievable. I'm not far off that with very little.
  7. Looks like a good show bud, thanks for sharing the pictures.
  8. That's quite a discrepancy. If they were purchased through eBay as it appears at least he can get his money back, if they aren't what he paid for.
  9. Right, they probably are what they are supposed to be. Only way your going to know is offer them up. Even if the hole centres match you need to see the disc offset is correct, iirc z33 vs R33 there's a 5mm offset difference in the disc.
  10. Brembo make calipers, they make a selection of them with different piston variations and bodies to accommodate. Essentially a 4 pot with x diameter pistons will be the same body. The legs then vary to accommodate the fitment. This is why the seals and pads are so interchangeable. From a quick picture they will all look the same. All you need to know is if the lugs are spaced correctly, i.e. Share the same hole centres and the intended disc spec. What where they sold to you as and did you get the discs?
  11. More information required
  12. It's local, seen it many times.
  13. There a different shape Jay, the new style are squatter I believe. So you will need an adapter if you have the early 30P/40P heads and fuel rails.
  14. I'm thinking of fitting some to my van actually. (Wind deflectors) Why? Because I don't have air con and in summer rain I want the window cracked to let the heat out without rain coming in.
  15. Upgrade to a 19 row unit like a mocal bud, same spec then as the UK models.
  16. Il get my Sierra coat and bugger off...
  17. Now don't go leaving it on the hard shoulder. :tongue_smilie: Still too soon?
  18. Whilst I wouldn't do it, if you wish to this is the way forward. Any switched live that is activated by the ignition. As above it will need to be fused and will need a suitable gauge supply cable and earth. If LED this could be pretty darn small.
  19. Good work mate, keep it up.
  20. The following two garages are used by many members and have good reputations, LA Autos (Lee Dent) and Powerzed (Jimmer) the later being the only 300zx specialist in the country now. Zcentre certainly had a preferred mechanic that they recommended, they in themselves are a parts supplier though. Other people have done work focusing on 300zx's with very variable results. Many members here have been stung by "experts" learning on thier cars and at times causing more harm than good. So it's highly recommended to use a trusted and experienced specialist as your average garage won't have the ability to carry out the work. A specialist has the short cuts and tooling to do the job the best way and will often be no more expensive. Make of this what you will but careful who's hands you put your car in, make of this what you will. - - - Updated - - - But first, let me take a selfie...
  21. We've diagnosed your problem sir, your arm appears to have fallen off.
