  1. which part of the latch phil? the hoop shaped bit?
  2. getting back on track, why don't you want to go divorced elbows etc?
  3. Been loking at new rubbers it works out abot £300 to change them.
  4. Its more to do with how the exit the system, different manifolds play apart here in na tuning. Balancing the correct exhaust to say a high torque or high rpm/bhp. To easier flow and it will idle crap, but run lie stink higher up. Its quite complex.
  5. I did post up recently a thread which helped explained alot of this with pictures. Essentially those piston rings in the tub hold oil in, wjen they wear the backpressure from the cat holds that back, and forces the oil down the return. When you remove this, if your breathers arnt right or/and your seals are too worn oil will pass. So your both right in parts. It all has to work together.
  6. In a word, no. should I?
  7. my van was starting to be fun to accelerate in thats when I realised I needed to go for a spin lol
  8. looks like its the r32 ones that are the same don't know if that's gtr or gts yet.
  9. So in advance the red lwb turning up at a weird hour will be me lol.
  10. No its definatly tyre slip. Its quite a heavy duty clutch.
  11. took it for a blast today, two things ive noticed, firstly pulling away from standstill it wont pull away on just the clutch you need a touch of accelerator around 1500rpm to prevent stuttering? would of thought that big old v lump should pull away on just the clutch. Also although at 70 if you drop to 4th and accelerate it wont spin up, if you properly downshift and give it a boot full there is some slip on the rears. also accelerating through 3rd at the top it will spin the rears. it was damp/wet out. im running 265/35/18r perreli pzeros is this normal? ive not had chance to drive it much since the manual conversion, and turbo refurb.
  12. my targa leak is causing the carpet to get damp, and because of the weather snow etc etc ive not driven the car so its not warming up and dying out, tso its causing me real issues. ive done the usual and pulled up the front edge and pumped it full of selant, it didn't really stop it. its coming out the front piece of the targa. just a small drip but constant. the targa itself is saturated.
  13. Whats access like ques and traffic etc?
  14. Me and gaz are still debating what to do lol. Because were both tempted to have noz map our cars. However if its only 35 quid itay be rude not to come along.
  15. The rears are the wrong shape too, the bottom mount is wrong
  16. Yeah that would be a great help. No rush though ive got months before I can afford them
  17. these will fit a zed wont they? the gtst ones do the gtr ones don't correct? what im wondering is what would be the effect of them as the skyline is obviously weighted differently, so the damping rates wouldn't be optimal? im loking at getting some in a few months time hopefully, and the market for second hand is much healthier and cheaper. my bilstien shocks would also be going up for sale what should I price them at?
  18. alright rob hope your well, my brother in law has just got back from his 6 month tour before Christmas, it will soon fly by bud.
  19. damn I want it lol. any chance of finding out how it was done etc?
  20. is this why my manual box is tight and a little crunchy till its warm?
  21. yeah that's right I actually seem to remember that too, from that book, the er 300zx companion or whatever its called.
  22. is it a japshow or all cars?
