  1. A slight drop and some spacers and that will be lovely.
  2. I was wondering if you were going to be making an appearance. haven't actually seen your car, last time we met you brought martins(madmax) car with you to the bell.
  3. I have those whels exactly like that but with a bit more dish on the rear.
  4. Im not really sure what your asking but with some fettling all boxes will fit all engines.
  5. Dont forget the ymm line on the throttlebody that goes to the cc aswel.
  6. if you swap it off you wont have one to experiment on.
  7. oh right didn't read that properly, yeah there is one there isn't there that goes down to the front, as you say think its for the bov. the carbon canister also goes up near there doesn't it? I cant remember, bothe those long lines wouldn't reach the balance bar on mine. as long as it gets to the plenum im not sure it matters.
  8. cant say for sure but I recon its balls, unless you've got an ultralight full blown racecar.
  9. do you mean the 4mm harline on the balance bar that goes to the little nut with a 4 mm take off just by the fuel filter? if so tahts the prv. have a look at robos300zx page it gives some good write ups of the vac lines etc.
  10. the egr has three hardlines, two to the underside of the plenum and on from the manifold by the battery. and a vacline that runs from the unit to a solenoid on the wing on the brake master cylinder.
  11. its suprising how fast a stock manual z feels when you've been driving euro boxes for weeks lol
  12. yes that's in the subscribed members only section.
  13. Pull your tounge out the back of your head.
  14. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  15. I went out for another blast this afternoon once it had cooled a bit, and im fairly sure your right now. on a hard pull a little comes out then clears then your fine on the overrun for a fair while then once its sat there warm with little flow it will do it. ive only done a total of 126 miles now. 400 miles time it might stop. I may still do compression to put my mind at ease over the rings.
  16. its still cheap for an ecu whatever way you look at it.
  17. he should of cut his losses, and asked for a lift, from a proper car. Hahaha
  18. As you can imagine since my turbos parted ways with there seal, ive been looking in the rear view mirror for smoke as much as the road infront waiting to see what happens. early reports were good did a few 5 mile round trips etc, at first there was a fair bit of smoke but then it died down, eventually the last few of those small journey's nothing. Which I was very happy with, yesterday I took it for a blat up the dual carriage way and back to see what it did again pulling well no smoke etc etc. So today I took it for a proper drive, I drove it for about 2/2.5 hours covering about 80 miles of mixed driving and full throttle acceleration through several gears. So really todays the first time its got hot, properly warm. the first hour was all smiles and very much the same smoke free-ness as previously, but about an hour or 2in I started to get smoke again, not the same as before mind. Previously I had grey/blue smoke at low rev pull away and idle, uptil 3k when it cleared. This time Im literally only getting it on the overrun. which is intermittent, it DONT get plumes of grey everytime I downshift and engine brake, its only every now and again. Its also worse in traffic for example at 30mph on the overrun is worse than at 70. The negative side of me is saying great the piston rings are on the way out, and that is now a new problem after ive just pulled the damn engine. The positive side of me is saying the following, you did a compression test pre turbo refurb, which came back very healthy, between 165/170 on all cylinders. The car has done around 100 miles since all that oil ended up in the exhaust, and this is the first time that exhaust has got upto full temperature. So im reasoning with myself, that its merely oil residue burning off still and the hot gases aren't passing through as fast so im seeing the smoke burning off like that. I do have a habbit of being very paranoid and the reasoning strange things with myself. Opinions please??????????
  19. Update on your car please.
  20. As much as I love the zed the sound of a v6 is quashed by a v8 or 10 or 12 esp one with a supercharged bolted to it.
  21. I don't like that bush, it looks untidy. no offence. but imo the idea is to get that crap off the wing not stick something else on there. im sure any hydrolics company would be able to knock something that connect directly to the return for pence. or you other alternatie as are as follows. follow marties suggestion and fit an na pump and delete it all. or, take the rear of the pump off remove the fingers and blank the hydrolic take off with a bolt.
  22. Well I had 5 minutes today, so I had a look at the latches. Well Phil I noticed something, the plastic surround on the catch has worn away so the door doesn't pull in quite as far as it should. It's only a mm, and I also pulled the catch in towards the cabin 2mm making an increased pull of 3mm big gain. I can now see the glass squeezing the seal much better. so now ive just gotta wait for the rain and see what happens, im sure that wont take long lol.
  23. two red zeds cruising up the a350 :D that fills me with serious joy.
  24. you can run codes off the ecu bud which will tell you if the det sensor has thrown up an issue. it wont however tell you if its the sensor or the loom. the sensor is located on the rear of the engine in the 12 oclock postion of the bell housing down in the v, its a knob to get to with the engine and box in situe.
  25. black gloves are or winners :) those ball joints are about £80 bucks each for genuine ones, pretty sure theres a chap on the bay that does repros but I dunno what the qualities like. or you could fully delete it with the driftworks kit for £200
