  1. I suspect every damn connection on that cars engine bay is going to be corroded if its been sat outside for a few years without running.
  2. now you`re an offical owner! oh hell yes your not in the club till your clubs made you bleed.
  3. 0-60 6 seconds? What's that with 4 overweight people in it? most reviews vary from 5.2 to 5.5.... anyways great to see the car getting some praise for a change, and being viewed as a classic. One day they will be worth money honest.
  4. may be able to come along but im at the rolling road day in Bristol on the Saturday so It depends on a few factors.
  5. Probably assumed it was a 200sx, people are real bodge it barriers arn't they. The buzzing from the back is probably the fuel pump, and the belts and viscous fan can be squeaky if not quite right. The electric fan shouldn't run unless the air con is on or you overheating.
  6. Thinking about it they wont affect the ride height just the subframes height, as the shock and spring will dictate the ride height still....
  7. Where did you have to fit the packing rings?
  8. hrm didn't think about that, although really the ujs should correct that I spose. did yours come with a little metal washer like 3mm or something? or is that something they have added recently? I wondering wether I could bin that aswel giving a further body drop. - - - Updated - - - or are those for the bottom?
  9. I think if I understanf rightly the driftworks poly ones reduce the height by about 10mm, which would be great. I can see now after you explaining how they work, if the bush is shagged though, yhe collors wont help will they?
  10. have you fitted the poly ones before?
  11. I was looking at those collor things aswel, but to me if your wedging a 5mm flange in there your going to be raising your ride height... has anyone got solids?
  12. Do you need a spacer with the es style ones?
  13. Whats the deal? I've seen poly ones solid ones etc? some are saying with the solids you need spacer? confused! also do I need to fully remove the subframe to change them? or can I just drop it six inches sort thing? or is dropping it six inches the same as dropping it out completely?
  14. Sorry to dig this up, ive been thinking about doing mine, get rid of that annoying hop at the top of the gear, why do you need the spacer sorry? if you don't fit it does it drag the back end down 10mm?
  15. no I decided il have to produce something custom unfortunately as car.mad cant be bothered :P
  16. basically yeah, you just create a loop.
  17. ive got high temp paint on my plenum no problems so far.
  18. why don't you just rll the arch and pop out the lip a touch then they will fit properly, its the offset that's causing you problems not the ride height.
  19. lol that's beyond brave, id be worried it would pop off at a hint of a corner lol, not to mention at only 165 wide im surprised you ever have traction
  20. cant you over do it and crack it because of the localised heat?
  21. Me either except my side one i.e the filling nut had been chewed by people doing this over the years, as its not quite the same size. so I couldn't get the bugger out, plus the fact that getting the ratchet up there was a pita.
  22. You will need the sump plug tool I have one you can borrow, from when I did mi if you usea socket you eont get the sam ws grip and ul **** the olug.ne.
