  1. Mines hooky.
  2. Oh I’ve heard good things about Greg that’s not my point, my point was on a membership level.
  3. I’ve met a couple of times, always very enthusiastic.
  4. I know things didn’t work out with Noel but this club has no one now who is a member to explore things. For example does anyone on here have Nistune and actually have half an idea how to use it?
  5. I purchased the PRF6B-11 I think they are about 5 years ago. They weren’t cheap however from what I understand NGK worked with Nissan to design the plug. This was about the spark placement in the head bowl particularly. I believe the US cars received grade 7, these are no longer available so they’ve subsequently changed to our spec the 6. Feel free to correct my memory here. Because of the cost Noel was running a copper plug, those BK whatever’s. These didn’t correctly place the spark, I believe it left them slightly shrouded. But they were a cheap off the shelf compromise. He felt the compromise was acceptable in reflection of cost and they could be gapped where as the stock plugs don’t like this treatment. In summary the stock plugs whilst expensive and uncommon last 10s of 1000s of miles and for the vast majority will be the right part. If you starting to experience spark blow I’d really hope this is encountered with a professional edge and that can be addressed in due corse.
  6. The stock spark plugs are NGK PRF yadda yadda-11 the 11 refers to the gap which is 1.1mm.
  7. I’m suprised your not keeping stock plugs and they are gapped at 1.1mm, that’s what the 11 bit in the name is for.
  8. What size are the rears? There looks quite a bit of sidewall for an 18, a good thing in my opinion.
  9. no offence. My dad had one for a bit when they were newish and it wasn’t great.
  10. I literally said the same to myself out loud.
  11. It’s an RX8 and the build quality is crap...
  12. Don’t Royal Mail own Parcel Force.
  13. They all have problems. We use DPD which are in the most part ok, unless you want a Saturday delivery in which case it always goes wrong.
  14. I saw a silver one broken down on the hard shoulder near there few months back. I’ve seen two different white Z32s today.
  15. Time will tell Joel. Once you start adding roll etc into things it changes. I’ve hacked the front arch liners and rolled the rears pretty heavily. I’ve seen lower though...
  16. Yeah it’s incredibly aggressive. When I first put the wheels on I was really worried about hitting the arch, on full droop I had about 25-30mm of protrusion. That pulled in and initially the rear was so low that half the tyre wall was in the arch and the mid section of the exhaust was mm from the gravel, at that stage it rubbed. I brought it up an inch where I wanted it and my maths was bang on with fag paper clearance. I know my camber is effectively zero so once I dial in just over a degree it should all come together nicely. Real world vs hard parking is the test though and I’d be quite happy to add another 10mm all around for driving quality. I’ve rolled it around and other than noisey it seems ok. Gotta book it in for an MOT now.
  17. Il leave this here;
  18. Sounds good to me. Although I’d pop them Cams out, there’s not much work left to do that and the timings compromised anyway. That way the valves will all be closed and you can rotate the bottom end independently and perform a leak down. Soon be obvious if esp on the inlet a valve is banana shaped.
  19. Well done mate. These things take time.
  20. I think I have the medium which is t quite big enough.
  21. 125-135psi is a touch on the low side I’m afraid Art. 150psi would be more in keeping. That said it’s the difference between each cylinder that is informative and a blanket average is less useful, obviously you have no way to know about how well the test was executed either. If the car doesn’t smoke I wouldn’t worry too much.
  22. Iirc and it’s been a while, that inch allows you to come forward before you lift and gives the clearance. I’m sure looking at it it will be obvious if that is the case. If your talking about the steering column Ali, those four bolts half way up are a pain to do with the engine out ey alone in.
  23. Have you dropped the subframe by an inch or so?
  24. It’s a pain in the ass. Why do you need it off?
