Radiator for Manual NA is it the same as Manual TT Radiator
TT rads are narrower to accommodate the intercooler piping. The mounting points are also different. In short no it’s not a straight swap and requires brackets etc. Easiest to stick with designated spec.

Search for TT Engine for a 300ZX
I purchased an engine from them and had them fit it some years ago, the service was poor and I received a non turbo engine instead of the twin which failed a few years later (very few miles due to lack of use, due to the poor fitting). They did not agree fault or to compensate me, I was within my legal right to persue them and was prepared to do so under the misale of goods act. We settled on “good will guesture” of around 1/6th of the total value of the parts and fitting I’d paid, which got me a new engine from another place. As you can imagine the story is somewhat longer than this but my advice would be the same, esp as an international buyer. I would personally not purchase from them again or recommend them.

It's rude to smoke in public...
Glad to hear this. All to often people assume turbo failure without checking the engine is operating functionally.

White UK 300 on eBay
I wouldn’t call it a really big job as such, nothing hard just long winded and dirty. I don’t know your skill level or what tools or facilities you have. It’s not an afternoons work, you’d say it could be done in a weekend but without the knowledge or tools your going to doing lots of swearing and scouting the internet.

White UK 300 on eBay
Yes is the short answer but there will be some faffing about as there’s absent brackets in the NA she’ll for things like intercooler pipework, minor issue. It’s a big undertaking though. The propshaft won’t be suitable.

Ebay specials again
If the spec is to be believed there’s some good parts on but the body looks tired. 4.5k I recon is more realistic

Out with the new..in with the old
I’m guessing it’s a new school scirocco? If so, if you can, keep it. Have the Z as a toy. As a daily they are a pain, your talking about a complex Japanese car that’s over quarter of a century old, whilst they can be reliable (can), when they do fail it can be costly and long winded. You won’t find many parts for it locally and will find often ordering parts with lead times or importing them. It braking down Friday and you rushing about trying to fix it by Monday for work is stressful. Your not talking about an old VW or Ford that you fix with a shoelace, a 13mm spanner and a screwdriver and parts are available at motor factors. I’m not saying this to put you off, I’m saying it to be open and honest,

The excitement of been a new 300zx owner
A stock Z32 is a smart looking car but in bone stock form they are very 90s, obviously. The 90s was an ear of technological leaps but the style was a bit bland. Maybe the errors of the 80s put things in reverse, the 60/70s productions were beautiful machines. The Z32 was a real stand out car when I was a kid, many on here won’t agree but they don’t really stand out these days, sure you can tell it’s not a Eurobox but they aren’t aggressive looking, they have no where near the drama of modern cars. Go take a look at your local Audi dealer as the RS models, covered in spats, splitters etc and that motorsport look that the OEM designers know sells new cars is what “the kids” are emulating (to varying degrees of success) in the modified cars. Compare a base model Golf to the R line, you’ll want the R line. Some of them are actually engaging in grassroots motorsport like drifting, autosolo etc. The old days of having fun on the roads and car parks in a car like what happened in days gone by are gone as are those horrible mobile boom boxes rolled in glitter from the early 2000s. Unfortunately the Z32 has remained a bit of a bling magnet, it’s just the owners have got older. It’s often viewed as a bit of fat old boat owned by medallion wearing duffers who care more about chrome that the tyres on the damn thing.

The excitement of been a new 300zx owner
It must be raining in retirement land today, first he is moaning about learner drivers in a country he no longer lives in, second he’s moaning about current owners modifications to a car he no longer owns. What’s next Jeff, the state of refuse collection in Tamworth?

L drivers on motorways !!
Tbh I always thought it nonsensical that you get no experience on a motorway as a learner. Realistically though what’s the difference between a two lane motorway like the M27 and an A road dual carriageway. I know one of the papers were concerned that the L boxes might fall off at motorway speeds? What like the 70mph they can do on a dual carriageway:lol: if they encorperate it into the test it will require an hour and a half round trip out the county for the kids round here. To be totally honest the procedure is no longer fit for purpose and needs major reconstruction. They shouldn’t be allowed on a public road until they have shown control in a controlled environment including skid pans etc and passed the theory test, then the practical should a corse where you pass milestones like planning and carrying out a journey. Then people should be party retested for health etc. Maybe then we’d habe less people crash in thier first year and less pathetic speed restrictions.

finally picked up my Z on sunday
Z32s have coilovers as standard... yes I know I’m being a knob but it’s not an untruth. As Joel says it depends on what you buy and how you configure that purchase. Most aftermarket height adjustable coilovers have overly stiff spring rates, I think my Tiens were like 13k at the front, ridiculous. Exchanging the springs to a lower rate changed the car completely.

Cash for Crash?!
I have Camal snot on my window from today, god knows what that says about me.

PTU relocation
I really wouldn’t get to pent up about it. Think logically, it can sit in some alcove in the nose cone or directly behind a gurt big fan. How many Z32s are driving around after 25+ years with series 1 PTUs in the stock location.

Cash for Crash?!
Pretty much yeah. There are people in this world that seem to be permanently the victim, they never seem to question if they are masters of thier own destiny. I’m sure we’ve all met the person that complains they are always bullied, when what they really mean is; I’m a bit of **** and sooner or later people loose thier patience and tell me so. Personally I’m fully aware I’m a flawed human being and I’m ok with it.

Cash for Crash?!
It’s not really one for a public forum but let’s just say they had a loose grip on how roads work and the ability of 90hp van.
-
Boost leak test?
Can’t inagine there are many wrong hand drive Z32s in the UK.

Cash for Crash?!
I can understand what your saying, driving is a massive part of my living to and there’s lots of idiots out there. Only thing is I tend to notice a lot of these idiots have dash cams, it’s kinda like these things keep happening to them which they think is everyone else’s fault, so they’ve invested in a dash cam to vindicate their beliefs. I’ll tell you a story if/when I see you about a bellend, his dash cam and me and my company imposed tracker.
-
Cash for Crash?!
Sadly this is quite common in some countries, there’s lots of footage of people jumping out in front of cars to get run over for the pay out. I’m not a big fan of dash cams but I can see why they can have their merits.

Radiator cap seal expanding
Rubber doesn’t last forever Lee, it absorbs water, rots, softens etc. It simply doesn’t last forever, age.
