  1. Don't for heavens sake fit a stock clutch, does it slip constantly or can it just not hold the power over a certain load. If the latter is the case, I know it's not ideal but do you need to do anything about it? The car will still be plenty quick with some limitation power wise until you have the disposable income to fit the correct clutch. Alternatively put some of your products on sale, use this cash to purchase the correct clutch, the USA is going to be the place to buy cheap quality.
  2. Spot on there dave, there's no defining line to call a car a super car. So by that token if the media hailed it Japan's first super car, that is quite simply was it is. I personally think of it as a sports gt. With it being an fr layout, my personal feeling is that a super car is a mid engined car. That's personal though, nothing more.
  3. Cheers mate, I've spent most of today clearing rubble. Her indoors wanted the fireplace gone now. Lol
  4. I Spose when you look at its competitors at the time, which is what's relivant... The z32 was launched to compete with porches 928 it did this very well. It was often compared to the cheap Ferrari as a low cost and more daily friendly alternative. By modern standards, if an equivalent Nissan was to be made it would have to be comparable to the latest 911, and an alternative to the cheapest fezza. There is Infact a current v6 twin turbo Nissan, approximately the same cost (relitively due to inflation) as the z32, the r35 which although the skyline boys call it the new skyline, Nissan do not. It's the GTR. The z32 was 1990s flagship Nissan today's flagship Nissan is the r35 the two share a lot in common conceptually and market wise. If you want to know the answer ask yourself what is the GTR now....
  5. I'm fairly handy with electrics anyways with work and all, got to cut in a pair of double sockets tomorrow to run my fish tank.
  6. Yeah sorry mate, my messages didn't make any noise... Oddly. Come over whenever mate. :) - - - Updated - - - Ha, il try move again then lol
  7. I wouldn't trust those monkies to fit an air freshener.
  8. I am a home owner! Picked up the keys at half 2 today, just say down after a day of farting about including slicing my thumb, it was very close the tendon, could see it all inside there. Haven't been to A&E yet, got better thugs to be doing haha. I dropped off the Luton at about 7, and drove the z back from its hiding place. So were all in :)
  9. What can I say I'm a fishy person lol
  10. Possibly mate, need to check my schedule as it's pretty busy next few months.
  11. That rating system is baloney IMO, there's people will full amounts if points (great white) that are fairly clueless just post loads. Picasso trigger isn't it ? On the phone, wifi went down earlier ready for the move tomorrow. Triggers and puffers are pretty intelligent fish, if you get an emporeor after a few years he will also be a character.
  12. Dorsetsteve I've commented on one of your threads fantastic kitchen mate.
  13. You may notice corals are definatly my thing lol, emporers are lovely fish. I have a majestic as a show piece currently.
  14. No such thing as stupid questions mate, I've been keeping marines for nearly 15 years now so always feel free to pm me.
  15. Just, literally reached the end if that, collect the keys tomorrow :)
  16. Plus one, I really hope there's a good reason. That car is a stunner, with good power figures and great mpg lol. Criminal to break really, that and Andy's car both being broken fairly recently is bad times.
  17. I'm gonna slap you david, pull yourself together.
  18. Are you still using the stock battery location? Or have you moved it inside? Battery removal along with the tray grants great acess opportunities if nothing else. I'd do it to mine, but as a road car the removal of two terminals isn't time consuming enough to be of any concern.
  19. That's the important part, buy the best one you can regardless of its trim.
  20. My signature pic is a a pair of red ones, one Lwb one swb. As mark said give away is the filler cap, the cars are identical b pillar forward. The rear hatch is steeper to meet the difference and the rear bumper shallower in the swb. Nissan were very keen to achieve a visual closeness, unlike earlier zeds which the Lwb is very obvious. It's all personal preference, a Lwb is a more stable platform. However a swb makes a better twitcher car more suited to a race car.
  21. Haha sorry Pete just saying what I see, part of my job is walking around and going, "no that's not safe". It's hard to tell from the picture, my gut is telling me that rotor is on backwards, as heat is supposed to be vented away from the centre, however different manufactures do specify different things, so...but that's my gut reaction looking at the vanes in the disc.
  22. Has one of those brake lines been getting a touch toastie? Also is that a braided fuel return line posted through on a bear metal edge? Don't like that too much.
