  1. Only if it was post turbo aswel. If it was preturbo that pipework is still under vacuum not boost. Sort out the boost leaks, even if they are THE problem they're still not helping.
  2. Did day at the beginning. If it's leaking in or out after the maf which is well all of it, you will effect the mix. If the mix is out you can either run lean and fuel foul causing preingnition of the deposits or burn lean.
  3. Lol gibbon me mate. Professional ferrit as well.
  4. Real shame it's being broken, I know it's obviously a rusty wreck but be nice to see some photos of that rare beast before it disappears forever.
  5. Everyone says that yet I can touch each every bolt on the passenger side. Mine with all my deletes would be out in about an hour I recon. Drivers side is the tighter side close to the block steering is in the way, I honestly can't see how it's the easier one.
  6. What's happening with this impul car?
  7. Put a rubber on next time mate you've got cyber clap.
  8. Exactly that, I think your either running lean to vac leak or your timing is out. Could even be the TPS. Sort it out quick though, else your next thread will be "my engine blew up"
  9. The only reason I was potentially looking for a uk rear end is I was hoping to pick up the uprated anti roll bar in the process. Yes gaz mate you gotta pop round, ive gotta get the place a bit sorted while im off over Christmas, the zed is getting damp atm, not the best. Soon solve that though. Jaffa pm on its way to you.
  10. Never knew that, it's a damn chocolate teapot then! Your high end is the most dangerous part of the curve.
  11. It tastes shit when it's not off, bin it.
  12. You won't build boost in neutral anyway. It's worth un bolting the front hard pipe, you know the one behind the accordion pipes, bolts onto the turbo face. This will allow access to the front compressor wheel, this should turn smooth as glass and extremely light. If it's tight or notchy...well yeah.
  13. Sounds interesting, local enough for me to just pop it in my van as well. It will be Decembers paycheck funding it so not until the 1st of January basically, feel free to pm me.
  14. The knock sensor on the zed is just a microphone on the block, no where near the exhaust.
  15. Haven't we all lol, I was going to do it all this winter but we need a new kitchen and bathroom...boring...it's an investment though I guess. So after Christmas I start a two stage plan if attack, il be needing a complete tt rear subframe pref uk.
  16. It's official car is now sorn'd, which makes me feel sad. But the fun can now begin....
  17. Well an internal misfire can mean dett. These cars suffer from issues on the dett sensor and harness that cause false alarms anyways.
  18. You would need a remap, as long as the engine is healthy no reason why not, they're not much bigger than stock.
  19. I dunno why you just don't get a pair of resonaters welded in.
  20. Your probably looking around a grand in labour from a garage, up your end of the country zedworld is probably closest. Make sure you use a zed specialist, joe mechanic or billy jap car specialist will take longer and charge you more, as well as using your car as a test subject learning as they go. Most likely cocking it up in the process. The cost of the turbos, professional rebuilds are going to set you back about £400 a side, or you can buy brand new cores from the states for not much more, a slight upgrade to gt525 turbos is a smart move and very cost sensible.
  21. Welcome, there's a few of us in Dorset. Two members in Yeovil itself I think.
  22. Be interested to see how it effects your quater miles.
  23. What didn't you like about the scooby?

Thankfully I think that sorta thing is dying a death, 10 years ago every kid with a Clio cords saxo etc half the thing was made of chicken mesh and fibreglass, you rarely see these kinda cars anymore.
  25. Pretty sure some skylines have the na ratio r200, however they have a better quality diff and retain the 6 bolt drive shafts. It may even fit in the tt cradle. Expensive though, probably not worth it.
