dumb error
At least you admit to it. There's people here that post up that issue, then would swear blind their new pump was leaky whilst rushing out to buy a replacement.

TT v NA
Tbf any discussion on the power of a tt not being that much more is arbitrary. The power difference is the same as most family saloons in 1990. Also bear in mind that the z32 is detuned. Being the first car to abide to the Japanese hp agreement. The mapping is crap and the boost is pretty low stock. Hence the reason even a mild chip makes a massive difference. I went out in Hellraisers swb na manual and it did feel pretty pokey but lacked the same grunt higher up, in sure the diff comes into play here. In a straight line a manual na would take a tt till about 40mph at which point the tt even auto would then walk past and make serious gains. On a circuit it would be down to the driver.... Thing is if you haven't had both you will always want the tt, I had a 130hp Capri lighter than the 2.8 probably sod all in it head to head, didn't stop me always wanting the full fat version. That's why I refused to buy an na z32

TT v NA
Very few na owners don't want to upgrade to tt at some stage. At low speeds the gearing of the na makes it feel as quick as a stock tt but once you start building any speed ie over 40mph the tt just takes off. If it's been remapped even more so.

what engine would you choose and why?
Yes that exercise in futility and being hip with the kids.

Crazy drivers
Does my head in that, your sat there in a low car, they are sat there in a ranger rover or copy of refusing to get it dirty on the verge expecting you to instead. ESP when your literally and quite obviously unable to mount the verge even if you wanted too. My mrs actually ditched a focus like this forced off the road by some middle class madam in a rangie.

Has anyone done a vk there a fat old block.

what engine would you choose and why?
I don't have any issue doing an engine as long as it's got the better. Swapping an engine for another simply to have a different engine that's the same power output or sometimes less powerful is a dumb move imo. There's a chap in the states with an SR20det in his z32....:s You can drop a less than a grand into a good vg and make over 400hp solidly. If you've gotca crate ls motor making 500hp na and a blown vg crack on, but if you've got a healthy one the money spent going ls could potentially be far better spent.

what engine would you choose and why?
Can you do that on stock pistons and rods? Equally what sort of cash is involved? Sounds like a big expense to get what you'd get from a simple remap on a vg. If you want to be different the vh is the one honestly.

Sc?

what engine would you choose and why?
Your very limited to what you can do though arnt you unless you turbo it. At which point not only is it going to start getting expensive it's also just as messy as the vg that was designed to fit in there. The vh is more powerful in stock na format and I'm fairly sure turbo able without a costly rebuild.

Hello
Oh it's that one I spoke to the owner a few times over djcc but he never seemed to use it. Cba with that lot though tbh.

Don't fit an rb it's a bloody fashion statement. Nissan could have used a straight six hell the original fair ladies had them. They chose not to due to the block height would have ruined the lines and affected the weight distribution, the vg keeps that weight inboard and low down. Due to its v configuration. Your costings of purchasing sorting and then fitting new tubs/tub will leave will you out of pocket. Be cheaper to build a vg30dett and some new tubs. You would probably end up with a more powerful engine. RB is for scene kids. The logical choice is therefore a v. The vh45 suits the car better with its high revving block. There's something that doesn't seem right about a long stroking yank v8 in a sleek jap car, that's coming from a v8 lover. I'm guessing the r35 engine will be cash heavy seriously cash heavy. And the 350 engine is just a more modern vg if it wasn't for emissions the 350 would have a vg. Pretty sure some of the racing r35s have the vh45 in them, follow thier example :)

gathering in their masses...
One band I would have lived to see in their day, I've seen a few bands like this ie not in ther original format and it's never the same :( of my two favourite bands I've seen one and a half of them. Unfortunately the half of a band I've seen I will never get the opportunity to see in full, as the guitarist was shot dead live on stage 10 years ago. And the missing member I've not seen who is still alive but incidentally also died for a period from a heroin overdose, as far as I'm aware had retired from the public eye.

300ZX Pricing - look at Zs - maybe? Hopefully?
300zx 0-50 in 6.2? What with the starion being towed behind? I think those but be the mk1 rx7 and z31 it's being compared against lol.

Godspeed stuff
The yanks have had more time etc with Godspeed. The general consensus seems to be there intercooler a are better than stock but not as good as say the z1 ones. (As a side note they look so simular to the japspeed ones) the turbos have an alarming fail rate, failing seals after a few k sorta problems. There suspension stuff is on a par with other Chinese produced stuff. If we could buy direct rather than import via the states it would be more worth it.
