  1. He has to, it's where they keep the ban list. Offshore of the mainland.
  2. I think the NSX has been the only one I've not liked at any point. I liked the z32 the first time I saw one I've liked the skyline more so when younger, it looks a bit fat square and boring to me now. The gto I liked I was put off by its engine bay, I know I know. The fto was never a winner for me it was girly slow and fwd. the supra well I hate the lights, front and rear. And considering how expensive the turbo models are your still left with what your nan will assume is a celica with a spoiler.
  3. Does ring a bell, il keep my eyes peeled.
  4. Iirc 11bs were for the us market, a lot of them run 11cs which his what euro cars came with. So either use these or there is a cheaper copper plug you can use that many are having joy with, bk something I believe. You will find them using the search function.
  5. Yeah that's where we are dip locks way haha Topline electronics
  6. I was in hailsham Wednesday, I'm there fairly often my office is in the ropemaker park industrial estate.
  7. Normally you loose the speedo at the same time so if that's not happening, it's not likely that. Yes the speedo converter is to convert imports from kph to mph, it's essentially a resistor. Usually hiding under the dash Bezel. If your finding it's not on on start up then into your drive it comes on, or flicks on off when cornering it could well be fluid level. You need dextron 3 ATF not Psf.
  8. If you don't get it out your system....come on then pics
  9. +1 just think heavy slow grippy automatic... Snore. With a hilux you can run shit over!
  10. If you have dry joints on your speedo or a speed converter is fitted, it can also cause this issue. Hicas ecu is controlled via speed inputs, no speed signal no hicas.
  11. Sounds to me like they are just trying to save themselves money.
  12. Thing is, that's an assumption. You can't guarentee that the person is the same person because of the avatar, I've seen it used by more than one person.
  13. Tbh even having a good quality tyre with a decentvtreadcdepth makes a huge difference, the amount of people you really struggling on budgets, then another person cruises out the very same junction. Noticed that last winter in the traffic.
  14. Sodium bicarbonate is baking soda, it has other uses as well in terms of water chemistry re alkaline management. Don't think that's what's on the road it would fizz when it rained. Referring back to the experiment at school using bicarb and vinegar to make a volcano, rain water has a ph of roughly 6.4 so would create a simular reaction. I suspect what you mean is NaCl sodium chloride ie salt.
  15. I did a fair few miles compared to the previous year myself, hopefully more this summer. If you wait for the right conditions you will never use it. Down here it's either raining, or sunny when the summer sun is out and I mean peeking half the damn country come flooding in like a plague. Sun equals traffic jams round here. Most of my zeding is done early or late in the summer months, cuts down on traffic. Right now though my work can is so dirty after two days the side windows are smeary and after a week its absolutely disgusting with salt and field mud and cow shit and you name it. There was an actually tide mark on it last week. Looked like it had been dipped in chocolate. So the zed is staying firmy tucked up till march.
  16. Most of the grief wasn't from here, the link was nearly posted from Barry boys, rightly or wrongly. That not comment came from Barry boys yeah? Hence why I was confused as to what you were on about when I read your reply. Thing is if your going to modify your car in that way, your going to create marmite. It will polarise opinion because it's a bit extreme. You've gotta expect that, I'd give you a ribbing over its new rave looks :p but it would be just that a ribbing, some banter. As you say it's not mine, I don't drive it what's it matter to me. I also realise you didn't post up pictures of it, ergo asked for no opinions. However as already said, itsca car that will polarise opinions and will stand out. You can now officially say it's loud and in your face as it's been publicly discussed without you prompting it. Wether that was positive or negative is fairly irrelivant. I'm guessing by your screen name and offer of coming to the POD your more of a driver than a shower anyway and that's fine, at least your out there using it. I respect your choice to do something different, however I also reserve my right to dislike it. You probably think mines boring, I don't care tbh and neither should you. Peace.
  17. I was in East Sussex today the roads were like black glass, really nice.
  18. This is a new revelation? Haha a lot of people merely make them louder.
  19. It's very common mate, not stations are seeing more and more cracked/snapped springs apparently it goes hand in hand with the mountainous speed humps appearing. Il be getting Meisters myself, my bilstiens just arn't low enough for me for they will be going up for sale after Christmas.
  20. Just a half cage yeah? I'm very tempted with one myself but I want to retain my interior. The insurance worries me too. The fact it may save my life is the winner.
