  1. I don't personally like it, reminds me of a Saab. Anyways, Andy Isherwood had a custom one piece pannel made, it housed some 4 pot lights, same idea though. I think the way to do it is get a piece of acrylic or Perspex cut to shape/size, then painted the black sections in. Then 4 led strips worked in behind. Two red, brake light and tail light followed by indicators obviously a short strip each side then a final one bottom centre to create a reversing light.
  2. Closed! Weekend! I don't think so, you have a car to be fixed drag him off the golf corse and tell him to fix your damn car lol. Weekend my left tit. Hahaha
  3. There a good bunch over at 350zuk Gary, had some joint meets with them this summer.
  4. I will be a japfest and if they do it again il be doing simply Japanese. Might do ace cafe and jae hopefully get 5 events in this summer.
  5. Was that front made mostly of fibreglass? The wing is missing but the side skirt is still on... Strong glue lol. From pictures I recon that looks worse than it is. They will right it off, but guessing the sill is straight as the skirt looks happy, just those front cross members to be concerned about. Rear quater looks cosmetic from the pic and you probably snapped/bent the lower arm or and subframe been there done that. Were you going fast?
  6. I liked the mk3 zackspeed but I loved the mk1 rs3100 based race cars.
  7. Is it me or is everyone wanting big numbers ATM, everyone you speak to has the build or that build planned or on the go.
  8. Good old vauxhalls, was it generally a pain? We had a cavy when iwasca nipper it broke down at the drop of a ht, I then foolishly had a corsa for about 18 months, omg what a piece, it literally fell apart in your hands it had only done 45k when I decided the thing needed to go. Work brought a few Astra vans and a hatchback Astra they are al hated. They often look so smart though, the vxr8 was on my wish for a while but I've since re minded myself I won't buy another vauxhall. What a royal pita Richard, hopefully it is ask pale fix, I make a rule of carrying a basic tool kit but I doubt you would have had much use for one . I recon the the pump is dead.
  9. Which ones dave? Stock fronts are fixed? I didn't think that those type were very popular for reasons I can't think of.
  10. Is love to have a good look over your car one if these days mate.
  11. Trouble is with just replacing the bushes dave is they're not adjustable. If your beyond the stock settings, it might be firm but it will still be in the wrong angle. :( Most of my underside will be being treated to energy bushes, but I need aftermarket front and rear arms.
  12. I half expect them to say no lol.
  13. I remember mine whipping round on me causing my front end to end up in the inside lane infrint if a lorry, somehow luck I guess the car straightened out. Blink of an eye, the lorry driver probably shit himself as much as I did. They're unpredictable cars at times. The main thing is though your ok and no one else was involved. They do seem to look after the passenger well.
  14. Is this a one off? Will it make the construction weaker? Ie more likely to explode on a bump.
  15. That's the purpose for it really mate safety, the car won't see the track too often or competitive racing. However if the worse should happen I'd rather give myself a better chance of survival.
  16. Apart from bob and Jaffa who both own slicktops has anyone else got a cage? I know mad Marco has a half cage but again swb. So yeah information on Lwb cages please, where from how much etc. how much do these affect your insurance? The age old story is having one makes your car virtually uninsurable. I've also heard it makes very little difference so that would be helpfull also.
  17. Pretty sure japspeed sell them.
  18. Interesting that Pete, the yanks slag off the ebay bits. For that reason, Chinese tat. However as you say so many of us over here use it all. Would it even be worth paying for spl it power trix etc and having them imported?
  19. LOL! North Sea! Ive not met mr. F before.
  20. Half those dates have passed, and my mot runs out at the end of the month. :( so sadly I'm out.
  21. My friend had a 1974 beetle a few years back, that had some very odd pedals terrible to drive.my van accelerator however is also floor hinged but feel normal.
  22. M3's are great but they are so boring to look at. To uneducated it's just a BMW that looks like all others. Be interested in a hard out race, my mate has a very lightweight scirocco that feels RAPID, the zed feel much slower. In the real world though the zed even stock starts walking past it as if it were still after about 60. Bear in mind a z32 running a generic chip at 14 psi is likely producing less than 340hp. Also bear in mind, that a stock z32 is faster than all but the latest Porsche boxsters a car well it's junior and with a very well know brand on the bonnet. So they are a quick car even stock.
  23. Prime to be broken, vultures will be all per that soon as you posted the link :(
  24. So much misinformation, lots of I heard such and such. There's z32s out there with 300k miles on the original block, there are z32s out there running 800hp on the stock block. They are no more heavy than any of their contemporaries skylines, gtos etc they get compared weight wise to a lot of the 4cyl models of that era, yeah it's 200kg heavier than a s13 but it's also got nearly twice the power! No one ever calls a skyline slow of heavy...a z32 has so much in common with a r32 gtst or rather the other way round. The z32 always has rumours about it, but il tell you now those that own and drive them will tell you a rather different story to the rumours. Japan's original super car is nearly 25 years old, looks modern drives modern and still embarrasses a lot of "sports" cars.
