  1. Why don't you just take a meter to earth test which is ground and which is live then run the live to the back and a short ground at the rear, bang done.
  2. Is that including tax Dan?
  3. I can't remember, I would of guessed 13mm from memory but obviously not? Il be home in a few hours, might be able to check for you.
  4. They are not black they are gunmetal  and as you know that's fit to change. The eBay tails, are a point we shall have to agree to disagree, I like them. By spring there will be a lot more approval of my car haha.
  5. Removing an aftermarket down pipe is easy, it's rusted solid stock ones that cause problems. Starter motor off, 3/8" ratchet and a UJ and a ring spanner for the bottom ones it will be off quicker than it took to get the car off the floor.
  6. Save your pennies take a zedbatitical mate, bin that pesky bloody auto box and go manual you really won't regret it.
  7. Get that exhaust leak fixed mate. Regardless if it's THE fault, it's A fault that needs to be rectified. If it fixes this all the better, it certainly isn't making things better.
  8. I actually think the 99 spec spoiler is the worst one out the three. :pinch:
  9. Good stuff. Oh well just goes to show, it's ****ed can go **** itself
  10. I couldn't hear much either. If you keep hitting 20psi in second gear outside a school though your gonna get pinched.
  11. Well well well, that's a boulder that's turned I never thought I'd see. There's only one thing we disagree on now.
  12. Well there you go then, expert advice is always worth having.
  13. Haha! Must be due a meeting soon mate.
  14. They say 2 weeks mate. Apparently UV and infrared from sunlight helps it harden faster. I've hit it with the cutting compound the next day before.
  15. Aside from the little or large faux par, it actually looks like an ok car. £3200 buy it now for a twin turbo manual, could be a good buy. Goes without saying it needs investigation but yeh.
  16. Have you just left the sprayed finish? Or did you compound it?
  17. Yeah, interest only wasn't an option we could have. Plus I wouldn't want it. That kinda makes sense though. It was fixed for the first two years, so I've just refixed it for the next four. If nothing else it helps to budget. Yeah I can pay up to 10% off fee free, but I don't think il have 18k disposable a year to just throw at the mortgage lol.
  18. Just refixed it for four years, going through the paperwork my new rate of 3.5% down from 4.69% which works out over the term is pay back nearly double. I'm not a maths genius but 3.5% is double, how do they work this all out?
  19. Sounds a bit excessive and alarmist doesn't it.
  20. You've got the rear calipers on upside down mate. I did the same myself. Makes them a **** to bleed.
  21. Fire the engine up with the belts off as said and see if the noise remains.
  22. I was expecting worse reading the comments. Definitely not a late car, that's probably the import year. Some odd modifications, the whole in the ashtray, the viewing panel in the rear screen. I'd be dubious of the mileage and it does appear to be an NA. 4k is a bit much, if it was 3k it would likely be worth a look as it does look straight with the odd bits being easy cosmetic fixes.
