Veilside's work in progress
I think you will find that's 8 odd litres including the torque converter. If that was pre filled then the remainder is just what's in the box.

Red Z project.
Is that because the loom is extended by a series 1 to series 2 ptu conversion?

I can see how that could get you a tug art, they don't like it when you display blue light. Did you have a chat with her majesty's Mafia over it? I'd be surprised if you didn't get a friendly chat or a bill, although as it appears atm. If you live at an odd number then they won't persue it anyway. Haha

Next Z possibly a crossover
You are correct there Joel. Every time Nissan themselves comment, they say stuff like we want to return to the 240 concept, you never hear them claim to want to return to the Z32 as it was a bit of a freak.

Next Z possibly a crossover
Having just done the rounds looking for something beige for the wife, the price differences or lack are very surprising. Toyota and Mazda were more expensive than VW iirc! They certainly were not substantially cheaper. I walked out of Hyundai laughing, seriously since when did cheap Korean cars suddenly command Europeon money, I know they are catching up and look much better these days but come on. I must admit I walked straight past Nissan, I don't like anything they make atm other than the 370 and GTR, neither of which are ideal boxes for madam or within the budget. Skoda was in the end the best quality for price that I found imo.

Next Z possibly a crossover
Fire breathing Zeds died at the millennium. The 33 and 34 whilst both perfectly good competent cars are not of the same league by comparison. The are built to a price and are not flagship cars. In 1989 300hp was big power, now it's hatchback country, not even bonkers special hatches just hot hatch land. The z32 was the GTR of its day. Let's not forget, the R35 is not a skyline per say, it's not a saloon car even. It's a large luxury coupe with a twin turbo v6 that's aiming to be a Japanese super car, sound familiar? To my mind it's a love child between z32 and r34 with modern world technology and power. The z33 is like a NA Swb version of a GTR in a way, you get some of the looks but without paying so much and without the power. A late spec 33 is faster than a 32 and a 32 will struggle to keep up with a 34 standard. That's in a straight line. Stock for stock these newer Zeds are a lot more composed. They damn well should be being a decade newer. Rumours of a 390z and a 4 banger version, then that weird iDX that was due to replace the Z. It's a rumour mill, one that's been going round and round. Unfortunately there isn't room or funding for two flagship nissans, we will not get a 600hp Z35 costing half a mortgage. Sorry but it won't happen, they won't even provide a true skyline GTR. The GTR is the one flagship and I can't see that changing. Nissan want to compete with the BRZ and GT86 a much more budget market. Personally I think put the poor zed to bed, the last two were a step backwards. If you want a cheap, esp if it's a smaller displacement 4 banger etc, bring back the silvia. It's a name that will get the kids excited far more anyway. They are bringing out a bonkers pulsar gtiR.

HICAS Light came on!
The power steering fluid for the z32 isn't normal power steering fluid. You should use dextron III automatic transmission fluid.

Wiring up aftermarket oil pressure gauge off dashboard gauge
It's not really the gauge that's the issue tbh. It's the sender, the stock senders break pretty easy. With a new OEM sender the readings are pretty accurate. Get yourself a new OEM sender and hook it up. Is the car NA or TT? I'm not a fan of having repeat gauges. Is two water temp ones esp of one doesn't work, just looks bodge.

£90 in compensation and they want to bill me £76 for talking to them over the phone to rectify their fault. So for receiving a phone two weeks late on an overnight delivery, wasting fuel and hours upon hours of my time I've got £14 compensation. Bunch of ****ing pirates!

Unfortunately knee jerk is how we produce law in this country these days, it's up to all those involved to prove innocence while blame and liability are looked at. Even if facts arrive to discount personal liability and discredit the knee jerk law introduced, the law will continue to exist...

It's looking very smart mate. Very envious. I do feel though that a spoiler would finish it off better, mine came spoiler less and I never liked it. Some shorties get away with it but a LWB needs a spoiler imo.

You can use the reverse light switch from either an Xtrail or patrol iirc, one of them. This means you can buy a patten part from euro car parts for about £15. That's what I did, can't remember the exact car. Same is true with the neutral switch I believe.

You might attract unwanted attention with that format. It could be assumed you have your fogs on.

Shoreham Air Crash
I heard today that the aivation authorities are going to be banning display stunts etc for vintage jets, in an attempt to make things safer...so looks like this is going to affect things.
